****ing little twat.... Funny how dumbass 14 year old kids think being 29 is old

    Answer me this:

If the catchweight won't benefit Pac, then why is Roach SO INSISTANT on it? :deal ;)

Manny Pacquiao's resume is vastly overrated.

I've been following boxing for nearly for the better half of my life, and I remember a time when fighters wouldn't get too much credit for beating the **** out of old, shot, or past prime fighters.

    Perfect example is:

    Camacho vs Leonard
    Trinidad vs Camacho
    De La Hoya vs Chavez
    Martell vs Taylor

We never gave these fighters as much credit for those wins than what Pac gets for his wins vs Barrera, Morales and DLH.

When Trinidad beat Camacho, Camacho had been fighting for TWELVE YEARS! That's alot of ring wear.

When Oscar beat Chavez, Chavez had been fighting for TWELVE years too!

Now for good reasons, Tito and DLH only got very little credit for these wins. Hell the version of Chavez that DLH beat was better than the version of MAB and EM EASY and by a wide margin.

But when Pac beat DLH, DLH had been pro for SIXTEEN YEARS!
Barrera had been pro for FOURTEEN and EIGHTEEN YEARS!!!
Morales had been through many wars in his 12 YEAR career by the time he fought and kicked Pac's ass! It wasn't untill Morales' 13th year that he lost to Pac.

So Pac's legacy mostly consists of beating fighters at the twilight of their long careers.

That is what I call, great managing and marketing, but not great legacy.

Beating old fighters is fine, but when people (*******s) start ranking Pac Top 20, 15, 10 and even #1 ATG for beating old fighters, it is just plain ridiculous and pathetic.

OLD MAN you were the one who called me a brat before! Old man, they insisted on a 143-144 catch weight. Cotto didn't want it but he said he'd make 145. He also said that he would make 145 with no problem. Although you're right about Roach wanting Cotto to move down to 144 and weaken him, he(they) failed to convince Cotto. Right now the catch weight will not give Manny any advantage. 1 pound will not drain Miguel Cotto and hopefully Cotto will give one hell of a fight!

    Key word "LOOKS".

I have a hard time giving Pac much credit over fighterswho were shot.

If you look at Pac's biggest wins Morales was shot, DLH was shot, Barrera past his best, Julio was shot, Larios was way past his best, David Diaz was weak, and Solis who?

R u ****ing kidding me, you had the audacity to put Solis, Velasquez, and Julio!!!?? Really??!

so you are trying to tell me pacs success was down to fluke because he fought great fighters at the twilight of their careers. well is it a fluke that he won a title at 112 and has won a title at 140, that is like 9 divisions apart. is it a fluke he has won 4 lineal titles. pac is an atg and you need to stop hating and live with it.

and btw comparing pacs resume to oscars is down right ridiculous. pac fought fighters that were slightly past it and oscar fought shot legends. and you have to put into consideration the way he defeated these fighters. barrera worst beating of his career. first to ko morales, give delahoya worst beating demolished hatton in 2.

we are witnesing greatness and you need to apreciate it instead of scorning it.

You were building a good arguement in the first Paragraph but the 2nd just shot that **** to all ****, DLH did not fight Shot legends he fought alot of great top notch fighters in their prime.... Quartey, Trinidad, Vargas, Mosley

and then you go on to say Pac fought fighters slightly past it, STFU seriously....

No, not a fluke, Pac is a very talented fighter, but his career has been extremely carefully managed. He lost to a shot Morales who had one more in him, and didn't beat him untill Morales had deterirated even more.

Barrera was past his best, and Hatton had been brutally destroyed by Mayweather. Now fighters can be KO and come back, but did you even see Hatton vs Lazcano??? A shot Lazcano almost becamse the ****ING 140 Champion!!!!!!! Think about that ****.

Bwhahaha :rofl When Oscar fought Whitaker, Whitaker was P4P#1 or #2, Pernell was past his best, but was still the MAN at 147, and he shuld have technically been undefeated.

When Pac fought Morales, Morales had deterirated incredibly, he ****ing lost to journeyman Zahir Raheem before Pac was able to beat him!! Lost to a past prime Barrera too! Barrera who was NOTHING like when he was in his prime against Morales and Hamed. Watch the Kevin Kelly fight and the Johnny Tapia fight to see how much Barrera had slowed down.

Barrera had been pro 14 ****ing years when Pac fought him, and had lost 4 fight, two vs Junior Jones, and had had 2 ****ing grueling, toll taking wars against Morales! It was the general consensus that both these men lost their peaks against each other.

Chavez on the other hand had been pro 12 years when he fought DLH, yes past his prime, but not as bad as Barrera. Chavez had never really taken a beating ala Barrera, and Chavez had one loss when he fought Oscar, should have been two, but nevertheless, was way suprior to Barrera.

Your ****ing delusional, and pretty damn ignorant. :yep

Yeah, ****ing up old shot legends is glorious.

It's easy for most of you to look back now and downplay pac's accomplishments. Yet you never seem to take time to realize where pac has come from. He was born into poverty and learned boxing so he could eat. He wasn't born into a family rich in boxing legacy and yet where is he now?

At the time, him beating ledwaba was already a big feat. Against barrera the first time, nobody expected him to win, not even most of his countrymen. And the magnitude of that challenge at that time was so huge yet he defied all odds. Point is, pac worked hard for his accomplishments. He worked his way up the hard way while keeping his feet on the ground. If you find something to hate about that then something's wrong with you.
