When Pac fought DLH, DLH had been pro for SIXTEEN YEARS while Pac had been pro for only THIRTEEN YEARS but Pac had SIXTEEN MORE FIGHTS, hence, he had MORE RING YEARS than DLH had at that time.

The old Barrera was only 29 when Pac fought him, if he had been a pro for fourteen years then he started pro boxing at 15 which is pretty incredible!

When the old Morales who at 29 lost to Pac on his 13th year as a pro, Pac had been a pro for eleven years. Not much of a difference, don't you think so? Add the fact that Pac and Morales was separated only by 3-4 fights between them, they must have about equal ring age at that time.

Well, I read again your post to look for some objectivity but found a bit of lie and disinformation appearing factual. Pac had a successful defense of his 112 title, a KO of Gabriel Mira. Pac did not fight Vasquez and other champs at 122 alright but it's not like he refused fighting them as you apparently wanted to impress on the readers' mind. Pac simply moved up to 126 to fight bigger challenges called Barrera, Marquez and Morales.

Granted you treat all of pac's opponents as past prime, but you're disregarding the manner in which he won. Could others have done the same to barrera?

Don't forget that they were considered one of the best in their divisions. Barrera was not shot when Pacquiao first fought him. Morales was not at his peak but far from shot. Marquez is a good boxer, no argument there.

if i remember it right in PAC-EM II, morales was still leading in the first half of the fight until PAC was starting to catch him with body shots. IMO he was past it but not shot. he was shot as hell in PAC-EM III though.

You magnified what you thought is bad, and depreciate what is supposed to be great for Pac. Former flyweight Pac going up at two divisions higher TKO'd highly favored to win dela Hoya in a one sided fight as compared to Floyd's SD win. I think you should give credit to Pac for his courage in taking this and winning it impressively despite physical handicap.

This thread is a BIG FAIL!!!!

PAC has plenty of prime guys....he he also has guys who are ATG's in their own right who may have been past their physical prime but still operating at the sports highest levels. Everyone wants to discredit PAC b/c they have a hard time wrapping their heads around way he's so dominating. Floyd had the same problem, Leonard, ALI even the great Ray Robinson. It's part of being the best at what you do.

Ray Robinson and Leoanrd, Floyd Mayweather, DLH and Shane beat old men too. LOL. You can say that about anyone.. PAC may have beat Floyds left overs but he completely DOMINATED where Floyd didn't. It's a big pill for Floyd to swallow and all he can grasp on to is that he beat them first....which means little.

If that is the case Leonard, Robinson, Mayweather, ALI, DLH, Mosely, Nard, Hop ect....are all NOT as good or great as they seem. B/c they all have great names on their ledger but some were old that they beat too.

Great post! :good I think the biggest thing that Keeps DLH in the ATG list is that he FACED EVERYONE! and Did well against Everyone. PAC on the other hand has a comprable resume but lacks that kinds of legendary names that DLH has....but ultimately PAC has faced guys as good and DOMINATED...>DLH did well, won and lost some...a few contraversail one way or the other. PAC has won ALL of his biggest fights where DLH is about 50/50 and I think that is the big kicker. But great analysis.

I know....but sometimes their logic deserves to be shot down b/c it makes NO sense at all. But its clear they are biased.
