He doesn't think otherwise, he's already stated he's an ATG. He clearly thinks he's got a very good resumé. the TS is just asking whether it's as great as some people make out.

the answer is that Pacquiao's resume is even greater than its made out to be. And that if you put a negative spin on his achievements, making blatant assumptions and taking general opinions as fact when it can detract to his greatness, then you are a hater.

The fact that the threadstarter brought Floyd into this thead out of nowhere in his very first reply shows that the entire post was full of bias and had a hidden agenda.

how exactly is it made out to be? outside of the opinions of a few fanatics (you seriously can't count the opinion of those kinds of fans), the general impression is that he has one of the best resumes of the decade and a resume that is good enough to consider him among the all time greats, but not yet near the very top. That sounds about right to me.

Floyd Mayweather....wins over 12 world champions(more than Pac-Man's 9), 5-7 or more hall of famers(more than pac's 4), undefeated and titlists in 5 wieghts and lineal at 3.

Wladimir Klitschko- Cleaned out the heavyweight division and has beat every Heavyweight of Merit outside his brother and Lennox Lewis in the last decade.

Roy Jones-defeated 15 world champions, numerous hall of famers and a 4 weight champ and first fighter in 100 years to win middleweight, lightheavyweight, and heavyweight belts...90's fighter of the decade and still relevant in the game today

Bernard Hopkins and Shane Mosley are even or a little ahead based on longevitiy.

Its not everyday that you see a guy start as a flyweight go on to win titles all the way up to JrW and maybe even Welter it doesnt matter if the guys he beat were or were not in they're prime ,they were the best in they're divisions(other than Diaz) when Pac fought them and thats what really matters.

Dont feed us that bull****. Ricky Hatton was rated as the best in his division. He moved up 1 single weight class and got knocked the **** out by a guy who has brittle hands. People then claim Hatton was so overrated. So the 140 division was so weak that they had an overrated champion who was the best in that division?

    This **** dont add up:rofl

look at my post above yours. You guys are taking this and running with it. He has a good resume, its just I believe some people on here hype Pac-Man up a bit too much when he has other fighters with comparable resumes and titles won.

. I feel at times fanatics overrate Pac-Man's accomplishments because of his style of fighting, his humble school-boy type persona, and power. Punchers are usually overrated and skilled technicians underrated.

If he beats one of them, then in my opinion his resume will be complete.

If he was overrated at 140 then what the hell was he at 147 a division where he looked like ****.

Dont matter how you twist it lil ***,Hatton with all his flaws was considered the best at 140

look at it this way...its alot harder to stay the best in one division than it is to hop divisions and have the ability to fight weak champions and titlists...not saying that he has but Klitschko has been the best or top3 for a decade....thats very impressive. Only Bernard Hopkins and Calzaghe dominated a division the way he has in this era.
