PAc-man was a big underdog to DLH....weight drained DLH is the biggest idiotic word used on these boards. NO ONE agreed to that weight but DLH....if he was "weight drained" its still his fault , and ultimatley should have been able to swat the pacquio fly....

as for 135, i mean, give the guy ****ing break....he fought most of his career at 122, 126, and a few at 130....beating anyone at 135 is a great accomplishment considering where he came from....
the fact he fought morales 3 times, barrerra 2 times, marquez,
as for Larios the guy had 10 WBC title fights, and after he beat him...Larios won the WBC featherweight title and defended 3 more times.... yeah, thats "washed up"
as for his KO losses....at 112 pounds...he was 17-18 years old....way to point out that....thats about the age where mike tyson lost to henry tillman....

I think Pac is a great fighter. I've watched this kid for many years as we all have. I even compared his tenacity to Roberto Duran's. However, how he has moved up is not how Duran moved up with all this catchweight bull****. I also think he's in for a wake up call when he faces Miguel Cotto. Because I've watched him move up and watched how he was nothing more than a 1-2 punch fighter and he had nothing more to offer until he discovered his right hook. I dont see STYLISTICALLY how he ever defeats Miguel Cotto. With the counterpunching style of Marquez he'll see a similar opponent in front of him only this opponent can knock his head off.

the difference how you wrote this fighters resume compared to pac is quite idiotic...

be fair, show the negative side of these fighters resume, and then you will see that pacs resume is quite impressive..

if you look at floyds resume, only hatton(bloated) and corrales(b-level) were undefeated....the others have loses..so if we would use your dumb logic, then floyd is fighting leftovers, bloated and b-level opponents???

you really are dumb "former champ"...:rofl

there have been a lot of discussions about that but I can not see how Floyd has a better resume than Pac. And I'm not a Pac fan. Hopkins has a great resume filled with wins against smaller men. Mosley yeah maybe with his wins against Hoya and Margo.

Great post and so true. I just dont rank Pac that high as an ATG. When I look at a fighter who has a win over a great fighter I have to look at were that fighter was in his career when he lost. When Lewis beat Tyson he only beat the name and not a prime Tyson. When looking at some of the wins Pac is given most credit for: EM,MAB,Delahoya,Hatton, how anyone can deny that all of these fighters were not past their better days is beyond me. The last prime fighter Pac fought was JMM and those results speak for themselves, a draw and a controversial SD. A win over Cotto IMO would be huge for Pac and would definitely prove me wrong because I think Pac is a good fighter but I'm not buying into this Pac is the greatest BS.

Pac and Floyd are victims of their own success...they will always be scruntinized.....but all greats are thats how you know BOTH are ATG status...even if you wanna put them at the bottom of the list they are still legitimate ATG's period

The answer to your question is "yes". Put simply, if what Pacquiao has achieved is so easy to achieved...then more fighters would have done it...as it stands...he is the only fighter to ever win 4 lineal championships in as many divisions.

It is very easy to find excuses and reasons as to why a fighter is not great...yes some of those things you listed are very valid points...but like I said, valid points to descredit any fighter exist. Set aside those negatives, valid or not, he has a great resume.

For example, I could sit here and tell you that Foreman was green and one dimensional, Frazier was past it in the 3rd and beat him in the first, Norton beat him, Liston took a dive...suddenly Ali's resume doesnt look so great.
