Mayweather ain't at the top, like I've said before. You got to beat the best to be the best.

There's a reason why he retired. And having nothing else to prove isn't the one. Pac continued his streak and is rightfully the number 1. Floyd wants his title back? Beat Pac then. And we know it wont happen like the rest of the fights people want Floyd to take.

PAc's been knocked out twice, and he lost a 3rd fight, and he has a draw or two...so he can't be pfp better than Floyd pusshead.

Manny Pacquiao's resume is vastly overrated.

I've been following boxing for nearly for the better half of my life, and I remember a time when fighters wouldn't get too much credit for beating the **** out of old, shot, or past prime fighters.

    Perfect example is:

    Camacho vs Leonard
    Trinidad vs Camacho
    De La Hoya vs Chavez
    Martell vs Taylor

We never gave these fighters as much credit for those wins than what Pac gets for his wins vs Barrera, Morales and DLH.

When Trinidad beat Camacho, Camacho had been fighting for TWELVE YEARS! That's alot of ring wear.

When Oscar beat Chavez, Chavez had been fighting for TWELVE years too!

Now for good reasons, Tito and DLH only got very little credit for these wins. Hell the version of Chavez that DLH beat was better than the version of MAB and EM EASY and by a wide margin.

But when Pac beat DLH, DLH had been pro for SIXTEEN YEARS!
Barrera had been pro for FOURTEEN and EIGHTEEN YEARS!!!
Morales had been through many wars in his 12 YEAR career by the time he fought and kicked Pac's ass! It wasn't untill Morales' 13th year that he lost to Pac.

So Pac's legacy mostly consists of beating fighters at the twilight of their long careers.

That is what I call, great managing and marketing, but not great legacy.

Beating old fighters is fine, but when people (*******s) start ranking Pac Top 20, 15, 10 and even #1 ATG for beating old fighters, it is just plain ridiculous and pathetic.

Not too mention that his last fights are against a SHOT DLH, and against Hatton who was ALREADY brutaly destroyed by Floyd Mayweather, and to top it off, shot Lazcano nearly had Hatton out on his feet as did the light hitting Collazo.

Yes it is as good as they made it out to be or whatever.

The man has been the underdog in most of his major fights, that ends any doubts right there.

    So did mayweather....

What does that have to do with anything??? Pac still knocked him out in the 2nd round.

He was a huge underdog against that "shot" DLH and people literally LAUGHED and called the fight a circus, even the best Pacquiao fans and his own countrymen. Try to downgrade that win all you want, Pac did what people thought is impossible.

Hatton fight was ALSO looked at as a 50/50 fight and Hatton wasn't as big of an underdog going in this one as Pac was for DLH. So many thought Hatton has a solid chance, shot or not, that means nothing.

Now that you have excuses ready for those two, it's safe to say if Pac knocks out Cotto then he beat a shot Cotto who was KO'd by the hands of concrete?

    Since Mayweather retired Pac has:

Gotten a gift against JMM, a fight where many Philipino media outlets scored it for JMM, and even ******* king Pacdbest had it a DRAW!!!

Has beaten the weakes title holder at 135, David Diaz, who got his title by winning an extremely contreversial win over a SHOT Morales.

Has beaten a shot DLH, and fighting him at an unhealthy weight.

And beating Hatton, who had been already brutaally destroyed by Mayweather, and was nearly KO by a shot Lazcano!

Very Pound for Poundish! How ever did he accomplish all that!

All of you who just call this hate are ignorant and incapable of providing a good response. I think Pacquiao's path so far has been done strategicaly with opponents either Arum or Roach considered "safe". It is the manager's job to help the fighter grow appropriately, otherwise the fighter can be destroyed. The same is done for most fighters with smart managers. Pacquiao was intelligently groomed to where he is, and he is now at a point where his last few fights will secure his legacy. There are really no more safe options left, so now he will be facing opponents that the boxing community view as very dangerous. If he defeats dangerous opponents for his last few fights, his legacy will be secured and undisputed. He is already a tremendous fighter, the last few wins can make him legendary (especially if he can manage to beat Cotto, and Mayweather. Mosley would be a bonus).
