    asero.

Why would Pep be higher than Pac? He's an overrated ATG., he got 3 losses in his peak from nobodies. Joe Louis is an overrated one armed piece of hype job like Ali (but ali deserves top 15, joe doesnt).

Duran, let's not get started, he indeed fought the best in his era - but lost 5 times out of 6, compared to Manny he felt a bit short - but i must agree it's debateable. I still think and would argue to anybody 'til i turn blue that Duran's achievements isn't all that great, his resume is fantastic. Resume and achievement are two different things. Pac avenged his only valid lost against EM.

Now, after criticising those 3 bums where i think Manny is better than them. Those 3 are always in everybody's list.

20 years from now, i may not have realised it yet - but Pacquiao is probably "already" a top 10 ATG.

Can anyone name 10 better fighters? I do think he ranks in the top 15 easily, and arguably in the top 10. If he were to beat Floyd Mayweather he would be arguably in the top 2.

I mean how many more people does he have to beat to be the best ever? If he's not in the top 10 by now then who exactly do you have in your top 10?

Pac earned his way into the top10 in my opinion. The guy has 8 world titles. He has made history. And he has fought stiff competition. When is the last time we saw a fighter like this? Sugar Ray Robinson?

Pacquiao has the chance to be the greatest fighter of all time depending on who he fights next. If he fights Mayweather and Paul Williams and secures a win over both of them, I would have him #1 ATG. The odds of him doing this alone would put him at that spot because he will have basically beaten every great fighter at every weightclass.

Sugar Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Joe Lewis, Henry Armstrong, all of these fighters I have above Pacquiao. There might be some others, but these are the only fighters who are obviously greater.

If Pacquiao beats Mayweather, and then Paul Williams or Martinez, the only fighter who would have a resume on the same level or better would be Sugar Ray Robinson. This isn't hard to figure out, look at who Paquiao has already beaten, he has beaten great fighters in 8 different weight classes.

If he beats Paul Williams / Martinez/ Mayweather there literally is no one left to beat. He would have to go down as either the greatest ever or in the top 2 on most peoples list. If he's in the top 5 that would be understandable also, but for people saying he wouldn't crack the top 10 beating Mayweather?! People putting him in the top 30? They are full of sh*t.

I guess Mosley should be rated higher since he actually knocked Cheato out.
    At WW, not catchweight.
Clottey was paid to sit there.
    Too much cherry pickin.
    Top 20 IMO

People putting Pacquiao beyond top 30 are just bias to Pac. I know the golden rule of ATG where you don't get inducted and people wont be able to digest/savor the achievement straight away. I realise that fighters in the first 3 quarters of the 20th century should be immortal because in that era the promotion is poor so fighters/athlete tend to fight every 2 weeks. Hence, immortal. That's ****. I know that this era fell short in talent, but so is Louis' division during his era.

I'm not putting Pac in Top 10 ATG myself, but people saying there are more than 30 to 45 fighters ahead of him - should understand the sport and examine how far more exosable the achievements of the fighters they put ahead.

Yes he magically demolished him without getting a KO. THat is the definition of demolish, to UD someone instead of KO'ing them because the KO wouldnt be as humiliating. He now ranks behind Shane Mosley in Top 10 ATG list because Mosley annihilated him and Pac could just UD him. Mosley is the greatest Fighter of all time and Pac is now number 3 for UDing Mosley's left overs. PAC IS THE BEST

By that logic Jake Lamotta is the G.O.A.T. He beat SRR in the fight that is critically ranked as both of them are in shape and in their fighting peak.

Oh wait, Jake is considered by the boxing crticis as miles and miles away compare to SRR (Jake not in top 40).
