Sasakul is one of the better flyweights in History. Pacman was just a Teenage greenhorn fighting for the title. He was way behind on points but showed heart of a champion and lethal power by knocking Sasakul out. I think this is a very underrated win over a much more experienced great flyweight. For Pacman to record great wins from Flyweight all the way through Welterweight, is truelly amazing. He is building himself quite the legacy.

Pacquiao's entire career pre-Barrea is basically underrated.

He accomplished what he did with basically nothing. He was in their against extremely hard, usually ridiculously hard hitting opposition.

He was barely trained, learning how to box as he progressed. He was literally fresh off the street.

He didn't have the chin he had at the highest weights, but he still fought all the bangers he did.

    Etc etc

is there an ATG that beat a current thai champion in thailand?

underdog in winning 112, 122 and 126 belts...he is even the underdog in his biggest payday

I also feel that this victory was a great win for Pacquiao...Sasakul has always been one of my favorite fighters and feel he was unlucky to have to wait for a title shot around 7 years after his loss...his career was ruined by Manny in my opinion...

I don't thnk you could call Sasakul one of the better flyweights in history.

His stepping off the gas in the first Arbachakov fight, when he seemed to be the better man earlier and coasting in this one(there's an interview online i read not to long ago where he mentions he barely trained for the Pac fight)showed he lacked the mentality of the top Flyweights.I thnk this fight told more in the tale of Sasakul than Manny, other than obiously showing that while very raw, pac was a very hard puncher at the weight who shouldnt be taken lightly.

He's the most technically talented fightere Pac beat though, not Marquez, morales or Barrera.

sasakul is at par with arbachakov in talent and ability...if you put arbachakov in your top 15, sasakul must be in the top 20...and it is a crime putting pacquiao 5 spots below sasakul in flyweight rankings...pacquiao beat sasakul in thailand and sasakul do not even considered a rematch

IF sasakul had fought like he did in his fights with Yuri he would have kicked manny's ass.

He's also likely to do much better against the field than Pac is.Huge punching avelar knocked out Oguma but doesn't need to be rated alongside him either.
