To add to your point Chimba........PAC is human just like any other fighter who moves up in weight "effectively". Which means it still takes any fighter a few fights to get accustomed to the higher weight classes. PAC is just now getting acclimated to the higher weights. He's becoming more solid and adjusted to the new weight. One more fight and he'll be a problem.....moreso than he is at the momment. So I think we'll see PAC really begin to sit down on his shots as he begins to feel comfortable fighting above 140.

Bring'em on. The same thing that happened to Cotto happens to Shane and Pac brutalizes Mayweather. He's faster, stronger, hits harder, and comes to fight. I know you'll argue but save your breath. We'll see after the fight if Floyd has the balls to make it.

Speaking of 140. PAC at this point will leave a destructive trail if he were to fight there.

I know! It's a shame he was kinda "forced" out at 147.....I think Paul would be a PROBLEM if he could actually get a meaningful fight at WW.

How can he be unbeatable with three loses?
How can he be "Superman" with two knockouts and knockdowns?
He is a special fighter. Speed, power and relentless awkward style. However, we can't take this as a reason to go nuts because everyone else is on his bandwagon. He is awesome, a thrill to watch but makes evident mistakes his speed covers. Floyd will put him to the test. My money is on Money but I am sure it won't be that easy of a night.

Whatever you feel he can't do he does it. You figured he was at his best a couple years ago, he got better. You figured 135 was pushing it for Manny, he puts the 140lb King to sleep. You figure he better stay away from any exchanges against a powerful welterweight, he hunts down Cotto.

You see its this kind of thing that makes you a target to Pacfans. We arent saying you are wrong but you bring in negative energy to humbling threads such as this.

He is damn good but i don't think he would do as well against slick fighters/great boxers.

Exactly! @ 140 no one poses any real threat to Manny. If you want to beat manny you better be holding a bigger stick than he is. You better be faster, taller, bigger, stronger, more poweful or all of the above. 147 offers true challenges b/c the fighters are bigger and the competition has more depth.

Not that 140 doesn't have depth, but the kind of challenges that boxing fans want put Manny at risky. Floyd IMHO offers such a risk b/c Floyd is equally as talented as Manny, but his skills are definitley in a class all their own. Which is why a guy like Floyd would be a true test.....Shane, with his speed and power, size ect.....Paul Williams for obvious reasons.....Cotto :D....ect.

The thing is.......PAC really hasn't been fighting above 140. Not long at all. He only had 1 fight at 135....and before that was VERY comfortable and effective at 130 & 126 where I "thought" was his most natural or effective weight class. Bonifide Jr WW PAC is right now! No one at 140 wants it with Manny at this point.
