Looking at Pac Man's titles I notice he has titles from Flyweight to Lightweight but not every division in between. Is there any reason for this? Did he fight in and challange for titles in each division? Had he won a title in each division he would of been an amaizing 7 weight world champion, with 8 a possibility if he can win one in Light Welter.

Probably didn't want to waste his time picking up alphabet titles and was content on chasing the likes of Barrera and Morales instead.

Alphabet titles seem to be the "in" thing with him nowadays.

    Good point. :D

It's only that one fight against Diaz though tbh, he's looking at Hatton and tbf he couldn't find a more difficult fight at 140 imo.

I don't think they wanted to chance it considering he lost the other 11 rounds.

this lost 11 rounds to marquez was a total myth propagated by marquez fans. and i think that they've lodge a complaint then. i don't know what happened to it.

even this last 10 rounds myth.

after rounds 3~7 which marquez clearly got, pac started to get back in the game.

Pacquiao started fighting when he was either 15 or 16. People mention that he started at 106, and he did, but he was fighting in the 112 division by his 4th fight. His weight was fluctuating...he was a kid. He won the 112 title, but his body was maturing just as any other 20 year old does, and he was weight draining to make weight. Once he lost the title, he immediately skipped up to a more natural weight class of 122, skipping 115 and 118. Would he have won titles there? No idea....There were some very good fighters in those weight classes in that time frame.

But anyways, that's why he skipped weight classes.

He skipped a couple weights I do believe.. He was weight drained a lot in the lower divisions..

:good It was a miracle he even won the Flyweight title given the circumstances.

The judge who scored it 115-110 for Pacquiao should've done the same.

I wonder how good a fighter would Pacquiao have been if instead of being thrown to the wolves at 15-16 he had gotten an extensive amateur pedigree like many of the other ATGs

that was much less inexplicable than the ******ed score of 115-110 that the 3rd judge had.

Sometimes the way he went was the best way for a fighter to gain experience, and I wouldn't say he was thrown to the wolves in the first place, why do you think that?
