You disagree that he should fight the top guys at LW(or SFW), instead opting to take on a bum like Valero or skipping the division altogether to face a better style matchup for him in Hatton. You guys place his ATG status on his win over David Diaz because he has now won titles in 4 weight classes, and you have the nerve to compare him to a Henry Armstrong type fighter without seeing the huge flaw in it.

don't be mad cuz he didn't face your boy guz. You're theo nly one who claims he's ducking at SFW when he fought the #2 guy jmm who imo is better than guzman. Guzman hasn't even beaten anyone of note yet, barrios, soto?

No, I'm claiming that because he's off to fight Valero and skip the rest of the LW division afterwards to face Hatton. Pretty simple.

Guzman hasn't beaten most of the top guys because quite simply he is getting ducked left and right. He'd likely beat Marquez at this stage, and I had Marquez beating Pacquiao, as did most.

 

in a way i pity how the career of guzman went. he had a similar path with that of JMM wherein they were both ducked by the big names in their division. the only difference is that JMM was able to right his career even though it's a little late in his career. guzman is almost 32 but it's only now that he gets his chance to fight someone notable. hopefully he gets his chance to shine.

with regards to pac moving up to fight Hatton, i think it's only a one time move up and then he will go down to 135 and fight there til he retires. the guys at 135 are already bigger than him, what more at the guys at 140.
