c'mon he aint skipping the LW division, and i doubt it he becomes a resident at 140 because that would be nuts. No way he's too small there...those are just talks, and you make it sound like hatton is an easy job. Are you that confident pac beats hatton?:huh He's won't be going further, everyone knows he has his limits. Pac is just too small to fight welterweights, its obvious he's staying at LW.
Simple? The rest of the top guys in the division are busy till after September. So what's the problem of having a fight in the interim that might be pretty entertaining for a spell? Aside from you probably prefering Pac fight more LW's, IF he did move to fight Hatton, what is so wrong with that?
To answer everything else for Sweet Pea... 1. All of the LW are booked right now. What is wrong with you? 2. Pacquiao has only faced 1 LW opponent, and you call him ducking everybody else for Valero/Soto. Seriously. 3. Pacquiao is no superman, but he's done a greater job than your boy Guzman did. He was the first one to move up on the weight, Fought all the future HOF fighters, did great PPVs and most of all considered the #1 P4P fighter. 4. Who is he ducking? Pacquiao don't need to revolve around other fighters world. Pacquiao makes his own steps. Goes for like you, Stop letting your thoughts on Guzman revolve around Pacquiao's world.
Ugh, I was riling up pharoah, take a pill. I am saying that Pacquiao is supposed to be fighting Valero next according to reports and possibly Soto. The LW's are booked up right now, I understand that, but from what is beeing said, it seems Pacquiao is looking to skip the rest of the LW scene as he has an alphabet title and will move straight up to Hatton. I personally believe he has sterner tests at LW than with Hatton, even though I would favor Hatton as well. I just don't see why he won't attempt to prove his fans correct by facing someone like Nate Campbell who I believe would thoroughly beat him at his best. The Pac fans disagree. Let him prove it fully at a division.
i think that worked well for him in the long run. spending time at 115 and 118 could have meant that someone else could have been picked to fight mab and not him. we all know what that fight gave pacquiao. so i guess it would have been cool if he won titles at 115 and 118, but #1 p4p right now sounds so much better
i heard that Hatton is retiring soon. so Manny will be his last fight. after Hatton, Manny will have no choice but to fight the remaining LW's. if Guzman wins his fight, he will have his chance. then again, if JMM wins his fight, JMM gets the fight. poor Guzman!
Why would he skip LW if thats the division he's gonna be staying for the rest of his career. Hatton fight is unofficial but he and FR aren't dumb enough to stay at 140lbs. Unless they're really crazy pitting him against Hoya. The other LW can wait. Wait why should they wait? Aren't they the one whos calling Packy out? I guess Kevin Lole oh Yahoo! Sports is right, if you want to make a big bucks fight Packy. Pacman on the other hand isn't ducking anyone, I think what ever is on the table he will eat.
Guzman has been the one cherrypicking opponents for the longest time Have you ever wondered why he never fought his mandatories? He had been champon of the WBO trinket for number of years yet he had to fight the number 15 WBO ranked boxer Antonio 'T-Rex" Davis (the only dinousarianin in this fighter was his age), a 36 years old fighter for a title defense (I am sure that his fans will say tat there is no one willing to fight Guzman ranked 14th and higher). If there is a truth to the "figment of his imagination" that he is being ducked by everybody, at least he could have faced a credible fighter, one preferably a top 5 in the division. Even Solis (undefeated prospect) and Larios who were both 'stay busy" fights were way dangerous than anyone Guzzy fought barring probably Soto (which is just a few notch above Larios IMHO and I might be wrong because at least Larios held an alphabet belt while soto never had one and had more losses than larios). When soneone points an accusing finger at another person, make sure that the other four fingers are not pointing at you. Fact remains tat Guzzy is a cherrypicker trying to protect his "0" loss record for so long.
