Winning a ring title in 3 different divisions and claiming lineal titles in 4 divsions is a tremendous accomplishment. How many fighters can make that claim?

Exactly, no one else can claim that;no one else but Mayweather that is. But if Pacquiao wins this fight, he'll be the only one to have won a lineal title in 5 different weight classes.

Mayweather won ring titles at LW, WW, and JMW. And Pacquiao has to win the fight first. That's no easy task. Full credit to him though if he gets the win.

No one is arguing that he wasn't the first, just that he isn't the only one to accomplish the feat.

That is correct, he is the only division champ. That's a hell of an accomplishment.

Floyd won't make it easy for Manny to accomplish this feat. Manny and Floyd are going to be at their best to ensure they win.......we all know what motivation does to special fighters and there's little doubt both of these guys are motivated beyond anything they've ever experienced in their amazing careers as two of the best fighters boxing has ever produced. I hear some folks saying this could be boring but I think both are going to look to take risks to win emphatically! Yes........even Floyd. He has it in hom when he wants to prove something like he did with Cotto and the first Miadana fight. I think he is motivated to show the world he can beat Pac without being overly cautious with a bunch of clinching and running a rind the ring scoring with the occasional pot shot. This should be a fun fight to watch that will give boxing another Ali/Frasier or Leonard/Hearns.
