Bob has to turn **** into gold considering his stance with Haymon and Showtime, and considering Pac is done going up in weight. Alvarado is a non starter. He's been dominated two fight in a row, and has little name recognition or fan base. That's a pretty much an impossible sell. Provo is a better sell. However, promoters are generally weary of putting their aging cash cow in there with a relentless power puncher.

Algieri is the perfect foil considering the options available. He did officially get the win over Provo, he's undefeated, he's from a major market, he's a likeable guy, and his punches can't break wind. Arum can get a nice payday from the site fees and Pacquiao has little risk of losing.

Those odds are way too close.
This is a mismatch of the highest order. Never seen such a soft touch cherry pick of a top 10 fighter

It's a scary invitation for MAFIA Bosses to rig the fight. BRADLEY Part 11 decision.

Wait a sec, so you saying Algieri is a tough style matchup for Pac but yet Manny is suppose to beat Mayweather? If Manny has a tough time with Algieri he has no business in the ring with Mayweather.

I do not recall a fighter rising as fast as Algieri to fight the top fighter in the world since Leo Spink fought Ali after only 8 pro fights.

EXACTLY! Where did Algieri fight last? Algieri said it would be hard to make 145 which was the original catchweight. Pac said no, 147! It's OK for fighters to come down for Pac, but not the other way around.

It is a **** fight. And the odds are so wide, I could put chump change on Algieri and win big. Why wouldn't I?
