I don't think pac is more influential than ODLH. Oscar was the only poster boy of boxing since mike tyson IMO. even pac and pbf ain't got nothing on Oscar when it comes to being the face of the sport. It is evident when you see that even the non-boxing fans knows his name (even at this stage of his career).

 

did you know everytime PAC fought there is a cease fire between Arm Forces of the Philippines and Rebel? almost no crime?
because almost everyone is watching his fight...

US population approx 300 million, less than 1% watch Oscar fight . Phillipines population 90 million - 99% watch him fight . Numbers dont lie.

 

obviously the word "influential" comes with many factors, being popular, charisma, fan base, world titles, fighting style, prolific.. etc.
and i bet you yahoo sports really know their stuff.
