    Manny has been more active. 3 fights in 08, 2 in 09, 2 in 10. You can sometimes be dropped for inactivity, which yea, it's been less than 4 months since Floyd last fought but before that it was in what, September of last year?

    Manny has fought Cotto, Clottey,and will be fighting Margarito, 3 welterweights that Floyd hasn't fought since he's been a ww. Maybe they're taking that into consideration. 3 welters compared to 1 welter since Floyd unretired with Marg being at Jr MW.Sorta.
