If Pac is gonna take on Spence, I prefer he takes on the best version. Go out on his shield, win or lose.

I’d prefer the Mikey fight, that’s an easy fight. I think people forget that Pac is ALWAYS fighting at a size disadvantage, last time he wasn’t was against mathysse and we know what happened there. Mikey’s basic style, open defense, lack of height, reach and size advantage means he will get his ass thoroughly beat.

It will probably be one of PACs easiest fight in years. Roach has been pushing for this fight for some time and you know that man only pushes for fights he knows his guy will win.

JMM is the exception but JMM was packing some serious punch in that 4th fight for obvious reasons.

 

Spence doesn't deserve to fight and get paid after being an idjot drinking and driving.

Mikey is a warrior that is close to Pacquiao's kryptonite. Mexican warrior boxer/puncher toughest boxers in the world.

THAT Spence, THAT Spence, really? You think Pac will not manhandle that version of Spence? You see how many clean shots he took from Porter? Don't you see how flat footed and square he is? How slow and telegraphed at times even? Don't you think someone with elite foot speed AND elite cutting of angles will not give him all he can handle? There are times that he moved worse than Algieri there and I can see a straight left connecting on his face.

Man I hope this fight gets made, a lot of people are going to look silly here once Pac makes it really difficult for Spence.

Pac may not have 1 shot KO power but he probably is up there with DSG as the hardest hitters in WW right now.

Spence is far more skilled than Margo but Margo was probably bigger on the night and had a better chin. He could just walk through Pac. If Spence receives that same right hook that wobbled Margo, I think he would be on the floor.

50/50 for me. Spence is a natural MW, 5’10, Olympic level skills and in his prime (if the car wreck didn’t fk him). A Young Pac is favour 90/10 but this one is 50/50, maybe even 40/60 as Spence can take him down the deep end and Pac simply doesn’t have that stamina anymore.

Which is crazy because this is a guy who’s biggest advantage was legs, speed, stamina - all of which are now 70% of what it was and in the case of stamina, maybe 50%.

And if people were correct, part of his early success was due to PED so the fact that he’s still beating Thurman now he’s seemingly off it and being a decade older just means either he’s that much further from the peak of his career, or the PED claims are completely unfounded as there should be no way he can compete today as too much would have been taken from him (age AND PEDs).
