Manny Pacquiao says he'd only fight Juan Manuel Marquez at 145 lbs or 147 lbs

    He says:

"I would fight Juan Manuel anytime if the negotiations are okay with my promoter Bob Arum and if he is willing to fight me at 145 or 147 pounds—because I plan to stay at that weight."

But that doesn't make sense because he just fought Diaz at 135 lbs after coming up from 130 lbs.

Does it not sound like a way of saying he doesn't want to fight Marquez? Why not fight Marquez at 135 lbs?

What is this crazy talk about wanting to stay at 145-147 lbs? Is Manny chasing Tony Margarito or something?

No reaction? Are Marquez fans fine with this? I sure as hell am not happy with this.

Marquez is still thinking if he will fight Chris John in Indonesia for $30,001 instead. In all probability, he will fight John.

In that case why doesn't Pacquiao propose they fight at heavyweight? Better money to be made at heavyweight.

How is it fair to tell Marquez he'll fight him but only for a very small share of the purse and at 147 lbs where Marquez can hardly move?

He actually doesn't need to fight Marquez. He has beaten him twice already.
Besides, there is more money in other fights like Hatton and who knows he can lure Mayweather to come out. Marquez is past already. If he doesn't accept Pac's term, well and good.

If he performed well against Oscar, he may fight Hatton and he gets passed him, he'll fight Floyd and retire.

How on earth is Pac Man going to compete at 147, that is ridiculous. Imagine him in the ring with Paul Williams. It would look like a Valuev fight.

He will probably fight shitty guys like Chavez Jr. at 147 and then "retire" and comeback in a year or two and start loosing.

Pacquiao would get ****ing slaughtered at 147 by pretty much everyone in the entire division. Berto, Clottey, Collazo, Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, Quitana, Williams, Cintron, etc etc etc.

Thats okay that he is talking crazy now though. He obviously doesnt want a rematch with Marquez, but after Oscar wipes the floor with him he will come to his senses and go back to fighting at 135 where he belongs

pacman has stated that he doesn't want to give marquez his biggest payday, because of he disrespected pac many times. it's different than "doesn't want to fight marquez anymore". He wanted to fight marquez but doesn't want to give marquez his biggest payday, that's why he offered marquez with the smaller purse.

PAC will never Go back to 135. It is impossible for His body to get back to that weight and perform at His best. Pac will end his career at 140, and if JMM wants some then he has to move up at 140.

He has hopes in fighting Hatton, Mayweather and JMM(if he agrees to move up). He has some major offers right there.
