I honestly never thought I would see the day where there would be a seven weight world champ. I am stunned, what a performance from a true modern day great.

Taking the dominant wins against DLH, Hatton, Cotto and his previous wins in to consideration, I cannot see how he can be denied to stand with the likes of Hagler, Hearns, Duran, SRL,Ali, etc. A seven weight champ deserves this accolade. Phenomenal.

Pac did something Void can't ever do. Void refused to fight Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Mosely, etc. Void is truly void.

When did this become about Floyd?

Anyway, 145 or 147...7 weight, 6 weight, 1 weight, whatever, it was an impressive show. STFU about this stat, or that stat and just enjoy the show.

because there is a distinct gulf in the quality of opposition! Cotto, Hatton, DLH, Barrera, Morales, Marquez. Is this not incredible? or should I expect more from a boxer?

Jesus Christ, do you really need everything explaining for you?

No, he didn't just fight bums, but he lost too many of the fights that mattered, Trinidad, Mosley, PBF, Pacquiao. And his key wins were simply not the same level of quality across the board.

that;s splendid but i still think it's a bit overrated. from 112 to 145 it's 33 pounds. impressive but not so huge when you realise that he fought in fly as a young guy. only from lhw to cw is 25 pounds...
