At what weight category? Not a realistic fight to make. Davis was just trying to get some attention mentioning Pacquiao's name...

Pacquiao was 148 against Broner. Tank was 141 and change last night. If the fight took place at welterweight, Tank would weigh the same as Pacquiao or MORE. And Pacquiao would be giving up 16 years in age.

The size isn't the issue. It's if Tank will back up his words.

I see Pacquiao one punch KOing Tank or dropping him as many times as Tank can or is willing to get up.

So, do you expect Davis to fight Pacquiao at welterweight? Good luck with that!

Why not? There's no size advantage for Pac. They're the same height, too.

The "future ATG" just fought a guy from a lower weight division, will fight a Japanese kickboxer next and you expect him to fight Pac at welterweight?

If at all (in reality, that is, not just empty talking) they will want Pacquiao to move down to 135. Where he will be (as was discussed already a lot of times relating to Loma) a walking dead. Pac would be an idiot to accept that.

i knew that before the fight, or rather, thats what my analysis told me, thats why the odd uncharacteristic prediction.
size and power. tank does not have the size and power to match pac, nor the experience to outbox him. pac took clean shots from some of the best feathers ever and just pounded his fists for more. pac also has the power to break faces of 150 pounders. pacs speed and reflexes are still enough that he is not losing to a guy smaller than him unless that smaller guy is p4p material.
i have a pretty good idea how davis would react to someone bringing the fight to him, the way hes used to bringing it to the mediocre fighters hes been filling up on... someone who can shake off his shots.

I'm just saying that there is no weight advantage for Pacquiao even if it's at 147. Do you think people would make a big deal of Mikey-Spence if Spence was 148 on fight night? No, it's because Spence will be 160-165.

Fight could realistically take place at 140.

Tank too short to follow floyd strategy. Big part of floyds strategy is his height.

This is a meaningless fight for Pac. Android needs to stop posting rubbish.

I think people do not know and do not care about such things. And if Pac even tries to suggest fighting at 140 (I'm not even talking about 148) Floyd will be more than happy to play up with that and to fool casuals into thinking that Pacquio wants to get an unfair advantage on his small fighter.
The best thing for Pac to do is to ignore the insecure kid and his promoter completely. And it seems like the old man agrees with me.

Why would Manny want to drop weight, especially at hi age? If Gervonta wants to call out the big boys he needs to be a big boy, 147lbs or nothing. I suspect that is why he is doing it, it's win win, Manny has to drop 7-12 lbs and can't operate like he could, making it easier for Davis, or Manny says no, unless it's at 147lbs, and Davis can say he's ducking him.

The fight will never happen because Davis won't go up to 147, it's a stupid thing to do, calling out Manny, get in with Loma and get schooled.

This is a very bad post. Davis is very strong and tough.

Featherweight Pac had extreme toughness and physicality. I remember Marquex would land absolute bombs. And then Pac would walk FORWARD through them. Unbelievable. And then throw his own bombs right back.
