I stayed up last night as i have for all the several big fight in the previous months. I am a huge pacquiao fan, but observing his fight rationally, there's only one conclusion one could reach, that he's deterriorated as a fighter since the cotto fight. The margarito was a clear indicator, & in the mosley & marquez fights his inability to fight was ascribed to 'leg cramps' give me a break!, thirdly his inability to throw combinations was shocking.
There's 2 possible reasons to explain this the war's have obviously taken their toll on him, & secondly the style of his previous 2 guys have been a nightmare for pacquiao highlighting his inability to cut off the ring. If the fight with mayweather comes to fruition he will get schooled, alot worse than he did against marquez!

On a second note, asides from the angulo kirklind fight, the standards of boxing have by in large gone down the gutter, first Mayweather vs Ortiz, Hopkins vs Dawson, Donaire's fight, sergio martinez and then the marquez robbery yesterday, we live in a sick world!

should Manny retire & do u share my views on the current state of boxing?

Spot on. Words spoken from a true unbiased boxing fan. We do live in a sick world when we can no longer watch the sport we love without sickening politics being involved.Sport is supposed to set us free from all of that but unfortunately our sport 'boxing' is riddled with deception.
