It's been like 7 weeks since Pacquiao had his shoulder surgery. It's been pretty quiet other than an occasional picture of Pacquiao in his sling. It seems like he stopped wearing it maybe a week or so ago. So, that's good. I figured that means rehab is starting soon and loh and behold, Lance Pugmire from Los Angeles Times gives as an update today.

Lance tweeted today that Pacquiao is returning to the United States next week to have his shoulder reevaluated by his orthopedist, Dr. ElAttrache. Arum told Lance that Pacquiao is unlikely to return to the ring this year, which is what's been said. Fortune, Arum, and other members of the Pacquiao team said Pacquiao will be doing rehabilitation in the U.S, which sounds like it starts next week. Fortune said the rehab will be really painful too...

Here's to hoping for his continuing healthy recovery:thumbsup

Nothing real soon, but in the coming months. Slowly but surely. As long as Pacquiao doesn't rush his recovery and listens to his doctors, the prognosis will be good.

he probably had the sling off as soon as the photos were taken. he didn't have life and death surgery. you act like it was a combat wound. he's had it since 2008 so it couldn't have been that serious.

Pac's shoulder was evaluated by orthodontst Dr. El Attfishie and has made a miraculous recovery. He's now cleared to do heavy sparring. Praised be the Lord.

Yes and this will be what follows

    1. Dr. Elattache (Whatever the hell his name is) confirms that Manny's shoulder injury is healing well

    2. Manny is resting in the Phillippines with his family and has the love and support of his countrymen

    3. 5 months later

    4. Manny's shoulder has miraculously healed 100% and has returned to his gym in the Philippines.

    5. Wants Floyd again, this time 100% (without the injury) or so he claims.

I saw them doctor-evangelists on tv once...they take a crippled person, and smack them in the head, causing the ill person to fall down and miraculously they're healed...!!!

So, in a weird sense, boxing can heal the hurt...!!!

I should get a Nobel Peace Prize for figuring this out...!!!
