People love a good scrap. Pacquiao gives people action, has many stand-out attributes, and he's genuinely great at what he does. And he gets hit. Not surprised a lot of MMA fans love him.
MMA fans actually respect boxing/boxers. James Toney recently called out Rampage Jackson and most of them actually don't even give Rampage a chance in a standup battle. Rampage is a top 3 205 lber near his prime and James Toney is washed up, so you can see that they give the sport its due. They view boxing/striking as one of the big 3 elements of MMA, the others being jiu-jitsu/grappling and wrestling. So while a lot of boxing fans view MMA as 2 guys humping each other, MMA fans typically respect all facets of fighting.
i agree, we should have a rule against boxing fans delving into MMA forums. we must keep ourselves pure and free from the MMA *** agenda
I told my assistant never watch MMA. I caught him, he was trying to tell me that he thought he was watching boxing. I was like WTF, he just threw a kick and that is a cage!!! Don't give me that!
my brother told me he's going to a boxing gym one day, i said cool. but on his way out, i saw an MMA panty dangling from his bag. **** that, i beat my brother up and gave him a boxing lesson he'll never forget. MMA is never tolerated in my house
he posed some problems for a while--lunging like an MMA apeman trying to brawl and take me down at the same time. i says to him, man, that only works for an overweight and old james toney who's been out of shape for the last ten years. after two minutes, he started to breath hard like all MMA ***s and his glass MMA jaw prominently stuck itself out for my laser-like punches.
Theirs this mma radio talk show on espn radio thats comes on, on Tuesdays or Wednesdays and after the Pac Margarito fight all the callers were calling in and talking about the fight. Even the guys hosting the show were like this is suppose to be about mma not boxing but when Manny fights its okay we will make an exception.
Oh please.... totally incorrect. This front cover was only shown in the Asian edition of Time Magazine. This meant more like The Great Asian Hope or The Great Story Out Of Poverty Hope. The same magazine came out here in the US but with another front cover. Has absolutely nothing to do with white America. I have this magazine with Pac's autograph from The Wild Card gym about a week before they stopped doing autographs altogether.
Do you dirve all the way down there to get an autograph whenever you buy any new emmanuel item?:think
