What you guys don't get is that implementing systematic blood-tests costs more than urine-tests. And the extra effectiveness of blood-testing doesn't compensate enough for the extra costs. Marion Jones easily passed all kind of tests untill the Balco affair convicted her.

Smart cheaters are always one league ahead of any kind of testing-procedures because the latter are implemented on causality.

Mayweather knows this being himself an elite athlete. This was just a smokescreen amongst others.

Nothing is free in this world, you are a fool to think otherwise. Costs are the main reason why urine-testing is the most used procedure.

I'll speculate that even if Pacquiao cheated with PEDS, he would have pass any kind of tests. So this debate about OSDT is pointless.

Maybe you should take a deep breath and question yourself.

OSDT requires nine months of being available for testing every week before competition. Moron You can't be retired. you can't claim to be upset that your trainer is facing jail Blah Blah Blah

Void does not want to get his feathers knocked off, so he makes up excuses, if not extra drug testing, it would be something else, Void is simply afraid, no ifs about it!

You have to understand, the ******* are not very bright indivduals when it comes to comprehension.

If you were to say that Marquez-Pacquiao would undergo random testing up to the day of the fight, and Marquez and Pacquiao were blood tested 2 days before the fight, the ******* would be up in arms stating, "how is this random testing?.....Mayweather Mosley random testing stopped 18 days before, it this is supposed to be random, why are they still testing Pacquiao 2 days before the fight?":nut

I'm about certain that a great % of these *******s have no idea what "random" means.:nut

with all this writing you missed the point of random testing.. It does not matter how many blood sample or urine sample they took, The point was it was random and nether fighter knew what date they would be testing.. If an athlete does not know when he or she will be tested, they will less likely use peds at all fearing they may get caught. So random testing serves two purposes .. 1 it deters athletes from using. 2 and obviously it check for peds..

One of the biggest thing pac and his camp wanted from , random testing which pac fans seem to ignore, is pac wanted to be warned ahead of time when he was going to be tested, which defeats the whole purpose of random testing.
also NO modern day athlete are using HGH anymore because there are test than can detect this drug. ( blood is one of them) which is why the NFL is requiring NFL player to submit to not only urine but also random blood test.
pac is correct that urine will not detect HGH in the body, why ? because its a natural hormone produce by the body, so it will not appear in urine, but you can detect high HGH spikes in blood but only for a short time which why random test are the best choice for hgh.

take the test pac and stop the bull ****.

Cost for fighters at this level is a NON-ISSUE! It's about personal preference and your overall stance of "principles" that would introduce the added testing for marquee names and fighters.

Let's be real...the entire sport is NOT going to implement these changes overnight. While everyone knows stricter testing is necessary and better the fact is the cost for 99% of the pro fighters and their pomotional teams will NOT be feasible.

For guys like Floyd, Manny, Cotto, Nard, Kilits ect...they can eat the cost of the testing if that's their stance and what they feel is right.

The problem here is that NOT everyone feels the need to undergo extra tests that are outside of the standard and regulated tests passed down by the commissions.

For those who feel strongly about the issue, they have the right to test themselves! They don't need the participation of their opponent to make sure they live by and move by what they feel is right.

So just b/c PAC is not testing, doesn't mean Floyd can't and just b/c Nard didn't test didn't mean Jean couldn't have set the bar and led by example proving he was about PRINCIPE and doing the "RIGHT THING", rather than making a bunch of noise that had no meaning.

Floyd himself should be the one leading by example...he's the one who brought attention to this issue yet he's the one who isn't showing any signs that he ever cared about improving boxing in any capacity or cared about the health risks of boxers by accusing PAC of doping, then demanding the specail tests as a requirment for the fight.

Floyd has enough money and has the platform to really push this movement and in the process improve his image by following through with what he told everyone was the driving force behind the whole OSDT demands. To clean up boxing.

Floyd should do FULL Olympic testing year round if he's really coming back and is really looking to fight Manny or anyone else. That would go a long way in showing that he's leading the way to seeing this through and wants to lead by example where others will follow suit to help expedite change.

Have you red my first post? I guess not.

Reaching for more excuses? You are right but it's the way around. Floyd is known to make all kind of excuses, not Pacquiao:
    -I'm on vacation
-I lost the urge to fight
-I want 100m to fight Pac
-I signed the contract, not Pac
-My health is more important than fighting
-I want to spend more time with my kids
    -There were no negociations
    ...

Floyd is losing ground and support because of his irrational behaviour. Even JET magazine blamed him for the failed negociations. It must really sucked to be a Floyd fan right now.
