I thought Manny won the fight but it was close. He was not teaching any lessons in this fight.

manny landed more punches, including power punches and an objective observer would see a close fight. Of course, any bias involved and people will claim either fighter won clearly. This fight was so close that it can be scored different ways. HBO had Pac winning 116-112 i believe and Harold Lederman is pretty neutral, IMO. Then when fight result was announced, mexican fanatics went nuts and the whole 'JMM got robbed' bs started.

The thing is that Pac was always favored to win so JMM just had to make it competitive to score points. It's like the Floyd vs Maidana fight. Some Floyd haters claim Maidana won but even I (not Floyd's biggest fan) saw Floyd winning. Now given Floyd was expected to coast and win easily, Maidana scored points simply by making it a lot more competitive than people expected. This definitely plays a role. Had JMM been the heavy favorite in each of the 4 fights and had he won all 4, many would've claimed 'Pacquiao got robbed'. This is psychology 101, exceeding expectations has an effect and tends to help the underdog.

the thing about this fight was, jmm was supposed to be finally over the hill and the stage was being set for for pac to ko him...i even heard people talking about pac by ko in about 4 rds. but once again, jmm got robbed of what seemed like a clearcut 8-4 (maybe 7-5) win.

Jmm blew the fight by not coming out to fight the last two rounds and decided to cruise . He payed the price . Lesson learned

Yup, lesson was: Never leave it to corrupt judges.

Bob Arum to Marquez after 3rd Fight: "It's just business"

Marquez knocks the fck out of Napiao in 4th fight.

    lesson well learned.:D
