Either way, you're wrong. :good You also think Manny is the best 126lb fighter of the last 20 years. :hi: Says a fellow P4P ******* entrant.
What I said was that PAcquiao at 126 a was better fighter than Barrera, Morales, JMM, Hamed, and Chris John were at 126.
what the **** is so funny about that. You need to stop underrating Pacquiao. When Pacquiao fought JMM, alot of people were claiming that JMM was just as good as Morales and Barrera were at the time, if not better. The consensus was that he simply was not getting the opportunity to showcase his ability. Meanwhile Pac had just destroyed Barrera at 126, who actually beat both Morales and Hamed, also at 126. Chris John has a controversial win over JMM and is a good fighter but not really part of this conversation
Manny's only notable win as a Featherweight is against Barrera. He drew againsr Juan Manuel Marquez, and got out boxed for 10 rounds in the process. I and a lot of others including Dan Raphael had Juan winning that fight. To say he is the best 126lb of the last 20 years is laughable and I will continue to laugh at your ridiclious nuthugger ways until you wake up and smell the coffee. I don't underrate Manny, he just isn't the best 126lb of the last 20 years.
you say he drew with JMM as if its a bad thing. JMM is in the running for being the best fighter at 126 himself. Other than that you have Barrera, Hamed and Morales. Pac destroyed Barrera, who beat both Morales and Hamed. So make your case for the other guys. We're not talking who is most accomplished, simply who is the best. Once again just check this thread below, it can help you see what that represents. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=136841
So why is Manny Pacquiao better than Marquez, when he was outboxed for 10 rounds and couldn't even win despite catching Marquez cold? Barrera, Hamed, and Marquez all rank higher than Manny at 126lb, and any other opinion is bull****.
If Marquez was "caught cold" then thats a slight against him as a fighter. Being a slow starter is a flaw. And saying that PAcquiao was outboxed for 10 rounds is a fallacy. If it was the case, Marquez would have won the fight on all scorecards, 115-110. Also, Pacquiao beat the crap out of Barrera when he was the champ. Pacquiao beat Barrera worse than Barrera beat Hamed. MUCH WORSE. On the other hand Marquez managed to lose a fight to Chris John at 126. Although Hamed was not at his absolute best when Barrera beat him, and Barrera was not at his absolute best when PAcquiao beat him, the manner in which they lost suggests that they simply lost to a superior fighter. Pacquiao didn't accomplish as much as Barrera and Hamed at 126 not because he wasn't better than them. It was because he didn't stay at the weight for a long enough time.
