I'm still trying to figure this one out. Pac will have one fight at 140 against Hatton, and if he wins he is the best at 140 this decade???? This makes no sense.
No. You cant just pop up & have 1 fight at 140 vs the best guy of the decade at the weight & IF, thats a huge if you beat him then claim to be the best of the decade... 1 fight doesnt equal a decade, Hatton is the best because he put his whole career into the weight & all his best performances came at 140. Pacquiao will have to do some serious battering of 140 lbers before the end of the yr to make such a claim & I dont think 2 3rds of a yr is enough time. Pac wont even be the best in a talent or h2h sense at 140 this decade, that will go to Mayweather IMO. Ps. I lean towards a Hatton win anyway vs Pac.
why do people quote my posts and they say something about pau williams as if it destroys the point i was trying to make....
Hatton isn't even the best of this decade, the **** is Pac gonna be the best after only 1 fight at 140 anyways?
i never said that that pac was the best 122 this decade nor the best 135 but common, he is the best 126 in the last 20 years.. the best 130 since PBF and the best 140 this decade if he beats hatton
Wont argue with the single win at 140 part but Mayweather had a few fights at 140 so the h2h thing is straight out the window as far as Pac is concerned, 1 of FMJs best ever masterclasses came at this weight vs Gatti. Its arguable that no previous 140 lb champion could have beat FMJ on this night, he would have sliced Pacman completely to shreds & left him in a heap in the middle of the ring in a h2h.
At 126, Morales beats Pac & Marquez drew with Pac. At 130, Morales & Marquez (on my card) beat Pac. At 140, Hatton will likely beat Pac, Tszyu would likely beat Pac & Mayweather would dispose of Pac with ease. C`mon, lets not get crazy here.
If Jones makes the top 10 HW's of the decade, then the HW's are in even worse condition then I thought...
