So you're trying to tell me that a guy who has gone 7-1-1 against future hall of famers, went from being a 112 pound champ to being a dominant 147 pound champ, and has gone about 11-1-1 against guys ranked in the P4P top 10 at the time he fought them is the most overrated fighter ever? Because, past his prime, he struggled again against a great style matchup who he's struggled with twice before? That's absurd.

If people generally ranked him top 10 all time, I might agree. But he's not the only all-time great who was generally fought guys who were older than him, and he's still fought a ton of guys who were legitimate pound for pound fighters and has beaten almost all of them.

Saying he's the most overrated fighter of all time shows that you lack knowledge about boxing history. A bit overrated I might even give you, but he's not THAT overrated.

  2. NO c'mon! Pac is still the man and he will still KO Gayweather the feather fist. After one weird fight, everyone turns on PACMAN so easily. Fake fans.
Who were Gayweather's last opponents? An old shot Sugar Shane and a non focused lazy idiot-underachiever/quitter in Ortiz.

maybe right now he is a bit overrated, but thats due to his legion of loyal fanatics. There is too much hype now to be spread with the internet so probably yeah pacquiao is the most overrated fighter in the internet age but not necessarily the whole history of boxing

****, ask the *******s about the DLH one, but i still give manny props for demolishing hatton like that. And i've always said manny looked more spectacular taking those guys out because of his style, not that he was better than another fighter.

even at his point, i highly doubt JMM can beat either cotto/margacheato.

no way is he overrated. nor is floyd. they are both the best fighters in the world imo, and I think manny is still better than marquez after saturday. if floyd ever fights manny, they will both go up in ranks, doesn't matter if they win or lose, but the fact they fought eachother will seal both their legacies.

Pac beat Old faded greats and used steroids to beat those old greats.
Pac ducked many tough challenges like Humberto Soto, Juan Diaz, etc.
    Pac demands catchweights.
Pac has had a few FIXED FIGHTS recently.

Thats is grossly overrated, of Pac's career.

Pac fought them cause they were old and past their primes.
Pac ducked Mexico's Humberto Soto many times.

marquez, morales, barrera, and pacman have all ducked Humberto Soto.

No, it was the consensus that he was a P4P rated fighter who was more versatile and better defensively that he had been when he first fought Erik.

Watch him post-Hamed and you'll see him have one of his most complete career performances against Enrique Sanchez.

Pre-Hamed he had had one of his more unimpressive performances to that point against Valbuena.
