The thing is if he is a top 3 ATG. What does that make Mayweather for you if he were to be the favorite in the fight?
What don't we see on that list, and what will we NEVER see on that list? Young, active, dangerous fighters in their prime. Manny is a total ****ing hype job.
Top 3? No. Top 15, definitely. Top 10? Perhaps, though it would be reluctant, given Sugar Ray Leonard is number 10 for me, and I don't consider any of Pac's wins to be better than a win over Duran, Hearns or Hagler.
Dude, read the posts next time. Erik Morales was 29 in their 2nd fight. Marco Antonio Barrera was 29 in their first fight. Now, go bang your head on the wall. :rasta
Who cares what other people rank him, all time? You people can rate him at just number 99, all time and I still wouldnt care. As long as he doesnt go OJ Simpson on us in the future, Pac will be one of the most revered, richest and most popular people in my country as long as he lives, and will be a local boxing god when he leaves this earth. He'll be remembered, loved and be treated better by his countrymen than what Americans treated their ATG legends when they retired.
I think in order to be top 3 he would need the following... A win against: Hatton Floyd JMM (convincingly) And a top tier WW (Margo, PW, Cotto) as well as a WW belt... THEN he would be EASILY in the top 3... But if he beats Hatton and Floyd, then he makes it somewhere in the bottom half of the Top 10...
No discredit to Pacman, but i think ya'll pushing it just a bit too far...top 10 ? are u kidding me....if thats the case hopkins belongs in the top 5 cause i rate his resume far greater than pacman's.....hopkins actually fought fighters in their prime....are u also suggesting that he is p4p greater than roy jones jr ? are u people insane ?
Pac would have to beat Kelly and Joe on top of the others mentioned to make top 3. And I am and have always been a pretty big Pac fan. Only with he and Cotto do I really have any emotional attatchment ..where I really care if they win or lose. When it is all said and done I will overrate Manny Pacquiao..I will probably put him at least 5-10 spots to high in my alltime list. But there is no way he is getting that high.
