I voted a TKO win for Pac in the poll, but I still think it won't be a wallk in the park for Manny to beat Marquez just like that. JMM will be out to prove much more now in the time of his career. It all depends on how Pac trains and prepares against JMM.

Its not about being Nostradamus.....I'm going with facts here, past history in MAB fights.
There are three fights in MAB's career where an opponent got the better of him when MAB used aggressive tactics......Junior Jones, Manny Pacquiao, and Rocky Juarez......
These were fights where MAB was getting much worse of the exchanges while using aggressiveness.

.....it just so happens that there were rematches after each of these fights.....and guess what strategy MAB used in each rematch???:D

......Exactly! In each of the rematches with these fighters MAB used the cautious run and jab strategy.

.....after getting KTFO vs Junior Jones, MAB fought him ever so cautiously in a rematch.....Despite the fact that the fight rested in the balance in the late rounds and it looked like Jones was outboxing MAB from distance, MAB never showed any urgency against Jones and continued his circle and jab routine.
Just like the Pac fight recently, MAB was afraid to be aggressive in a rematch with Jones when in fact the situation late in the fight called for aggressiveness on his part. MAB up losing a boring like UD on the cards.

MAB fought the same way vs both Jones and Pac, so judging by past history and revisioning MAB tendencies in rematches after losses, I have great reason to believe that he would have stuck to the run and jab routine even had the situation against Juarez called for urgency and aggressivness on MAB's part.

Again, it just so happened that the run and jab routine worked vs Juarez, but by looking at MAB's past history in rematches, he'd have played it cautious under any circumstance that he would have found himself in, whether he was winning or losing those rematches!

Not Nostradamas friend, just looking at the facts of the big picture!;)

One of two things is going to happen.

Marquez will go in there and prove the first fight wasn't accidental and completely outbox Pacman or Pacman will completely show him the first round of that fight wasn't an accident and completely blow him out.

Marquez has slowed a couple of steps, Manny has improved his offense and defence a lot since their last fight - I lean towards a Pac Man decision at this stage.

What if he lose? Are you going to say he lost because he didn't train well?

no excuse pal... but it is the reality. pac is partying and shagging and recording songs and movies and gambling.... just google his life. :good

it will be pacs fault if he lose for not training hard and for not having the fire anymore.

but i will laugh my ass off if he kos jmm into retirement despite all his partying and jmms advance sched training. that means to show that jmm is just a fluke whos only claim for fame was an injured pac during the first fight :deal :deal

I ask the question because I always hear that he is doing this or that, but this is nothig new, many other boxers have been under similar situation and we don't hear too much because they just keep it for themselves.

Now let me ask you a serious question. Do you know or have you heard that he is not training right now? I don't want to know about what he did last month, I want to know what he did last week and what he is going to do from now on til the date of the fight.

last week? from what i read he is still in philippines and he just started his running and some gym works. he only started last week because of his b-day and holidays and his movie was shown. so last week was his start. he should be in states by january 14 for the formal presentation of the jmm-pac fight. but knowing pac, i dont know if he'll show up in january 14. he dissed roach many times. pac is creating a stupid mistake if he messed up his training and doesnt take it seriously.

If he started last week he's on schedule. A boxer needs around ten to twelve weeks training.

The presentation is for both boxers, not only Pac... if he decides not to come....then that shouldn't count as a distraction because JMM would stop that day training as well.
