I believe you are missing a small but important detail here. There will be no hooks from Pac after JMM gets by the straight left. If that punch is ever blocked or slipped, Pacquiao is wide open and unbalanced to any counter-punch, the same is with his lounging right hook. After all the improvements, he has still shown that very same vulnerability in all his fights. If a miracle happens and Pacquiao has improved here, which would be a huge twist and that I severely doubt it will happen, JMM will notice within the first round and adjust his game plan.

What you are also telling here is that Pacquiao will depend on his chin to take shots and land his own. But what if these are shots he can't see, an uppercut for example, if he can't brace himself for a punch he doesn't see coming its going to hurt. The cheap punch Barrera threw after the cling in the rematch, Pacquiao was visibly hurt. This tactic only works with lesser opponents.

JMM is no fluke. He got a lucky draw but you cannot deny the level of his boxing skills. His claim to fame was coming back from 3 knockdowns to put on one of the greatest boxing clinics to salvage a draw. Everyone gets injured in a boxing fight. Getting injured is no excuse..

Exacty! Pac can come in the best shape ever, and still get beat by JMM!

......but believe me people, If Pac is'nt coming along and in the shape that Freddie Roach wants him in, this fight is going to get cancelled.
......that would truly be a pity, considering that JMM has already sacrificed Christmas and Newyears holidays to get in the shape he wants to be at come fightnight!

Considering that JMM was'nt Pac's first choice anyway, but was pressured by boxing forums like these to take the fight, I think it would be predictable that Pac cancels by faking an injury or what have you.....leaving JMM depleted and his early training regimen waisted!:-(

Read into what I said......there are some Pac fans here worried that Pac is'nt in the frame of mind and wont be in top shape for a fight in mid March.......

......all I'm saying is that if thats the case, Pac will cancel the fight, on Roach's advice.

Faking an injury is usually the way to do it and still save some face.
How would you suggest that Pac cancel if it comes down to that?
......say, it was all in the plan to let JMM work his butt off so that we can then cancel on him!
Shall Pac say, " no, I am not hurt, I'm just not in shape!"

I know one thing for certain......Bob Arum and Freddie Roach are not going to let the fight go on if Pac is'nt in top shape. They've got to much invested in Pac to let that happen!

latest reports say that pac is already in LA to begin his hard training for the fight at the wild card gym. he and jmm will have an official presscon tom. also in LA.

i guess pac met his final deadline after all. hopefully, he stays in LA after that conference and not go back to the phil. like he did while training for the 2nd barrera fight. he has at most 7 weeks now to prepare for the fight.
