If Roach hadn't been trying to make Pacquiao more of boxer since their first meeting, I'd be picking Pacquiao by KO in 6 or 7 rounds.

When Pacquiao first fought Barerra & JMM, he still had pretty much the same body with which he fought at 122. Over his last 5 fights, Pacquiao has noticably thickened and solidified. By my nscientific observation, while being only about 3%-5% slower Pacman is now hitting about 20% harder.

An immediate swarm by Pacquiao could put JMM right back where he was in the first fight only now the punches would be harder, and it could be over soon.

I'm talking about the same tactics he used to fight Barerra the first time: Charge him, throw punches in succession, ram that head into the chest and pivot off MAB's body to either direction banging over the shoulder or under the elbow with both hands.. .(the "spear & Punch" tactic was particullarly effective)

On the other hand ...if Manny tries any sort of "boxing" on JMM, the fight will become competitive. The mature JMM is extremely good when given TIME and DISTANCE. And Unlike Morales and MAB, JMM is extremely good with adjustments and adhearence to the details of a game plan.

My guess is that JMM will have worked out a way to mostly sidestep or slip the first one or two punches of Pacquiao's attacks, and to time him with the ocassional counter. What happens next will depend on whether Pacquiao just keeps throwing or whether he stops to reset like he did against Morales and in rounds 2-7 vs. JMM I.

Predicition:
I think Pacquiao will have a good first round, then have some tactical trouble with JMM's adjustements in the middle rounds, then in the second half, he'll just put his faith in his chin and offense and go after Marquez (like he did in Morales II) and when that happens, Pac usually dominates. JMM will not be as stubborn as Morales in fighting Fire with Fire, so he might survive a bit longer. But it should be Pacquiao by late stoppage or comfortable decision.

 

Pac does his usual thing & wins by KO or clear decision

 

I have one last comment, I hope pac wins CONVINGLY this time. some die hard fans always claim they were ROBBED if they did not like the outcome of the fight

1) JMM lost of CJ- THEY WERE ROBBED
2) JMM vs PAC I was a DRAW , again THEY FEEL THEY WERE ROBBED

If Pac wins ONLY by UD more so if it's SD it's USELESS - some DIE HARD fans will again claim they were ROBBED!!!! (****ING **** they were ROBBED THE 3RD TIME!)

I hope Pac wins by KO!
