Manny Pacquiao Vs. Cherry Garcia: Who Wins and How?

Pacquaio is one of the most beloved fighters on this forum, while Garcia is one of the most hated. You really think this poll is going to hold any water?

By you saying Pacquaio is shot, just means you'd be the first one to discredit Garcia if he beat Pac.. which makes you one of the worst kind of fans in boxing.

Thurman is the better choice, because he'd get more credit beating him in his prime, than beating a "Shot" Pacquaio.

Garcia's roid enhanced chin keeps him from getting KO'd, and his Showtime judges give him a few rounds to show they earned their pay. Otherwise, Pacquiao gives him a lesson in footwork, speed, power and angles. UD Pacquiao.

 

This smells like a Cherry pick to me ...

 

I pick Pacquiao by UD, even at this stage. But if you can't tell that Pacquiao is a shell of his former self then you don't see correctly. Take a look at him for example in the 2nd Marquez fight compared to now.

 

I dnt think much of garcia at all..
As a boxer i think he is very very overated. His greatest asset is his ability to lure his opponents into a slugfest.. he seems to be able to weather big storms and come out ontop when people want to pressure him

Even though what i just said makes it sound like pacs style would not match uo well i think pac has the experience and well roundedness to beat garcia very easily (wont KO him though)

Even a one arm, shot PAC, destroys Garcia and pops his 0 cherry.

 

There's a reason why Cherry Garcia and his dad wanted nothing to do with Pac even when offered multi-million dollars for the fight

 

Pacman will KO Garcia in less than 7 rounds.

 

No... just no... they did not most likely because they could not... maybe they were still figuring him out. Maybe they could feel him still shooting back sharp perhaps they could see attempting a KO to be to risky give thats a situation where garcia flourishes... you want to win a fight easily then open the door for him to get back in the fight late?

What if they gassed trying to get him out earlier...garcia has more then enough experience to weather an older pac storm.. pac should have been awarded a KO vs algieri but for some reason the ref wanted to call a break as pac was teeing off on him

But garcia is alot better and more importantly WAY MORE experienced when it comes to not just boxing in general but a slugfest or someone pressuring you

Like i said i dont rate garcia at all but that counter left hook is pretty damn good
