I cant see Manny stopping DSG, ive have never even seen him hurt once in a fight.

DSG chin appears to be stubbornly solid.

Sure Manny can still crack, but nowhere near as devastating like he used to many years ago.

A knockdown is possible but i also doubt it would happen.

    Pacman 117-111 .

It also amazes me that DSG basically admitted to the world thats he feels more confident of his chances against a PRIME undefeated skilled puncher like Thurman rather than a faded slower ageing ex champion like Pacquiao.

Thurman should be a lot more feared and avoided compared to Pacquiao in 2016 .

I hope DSG made the right choice.

    Hmm...

So no votes for Cherry? Accordingly to DrenchedLou, Thurman is a harder fight for Cherry and that's why Cherry is fighting Thurman... way less pay, but more legacy!

Is this even a serious question? My god, Pacman would make DSG look like a club fighter if they ever fought. DSG is too stationery for a mobile fighter like Pacquiao. Manny would be landing so many combinations on Garcia before he could do anything all night long.

    It's not even a contest.

Excellent observation, I have similar feelings towards Danny there's nothing truly great about the guy as a fighter other than his resilience, fortitude and durability (the left hook does have some pop)

I agree with most that Pac can probably pull off a UD vs Danny but its certainly no a given, Pac can't pull out of the pocket as quickly as he used to and in all honestly he never has and obviously never will learn how to angle his way out of the pocket when in-fighting that leaves him vulnerable to Danny's wheel house and I do believe if Danny did land something accurate he could drop Manny.

BTW its refreshing to read something from a poster on this forum and feel as if they are looking at this fight objectively. As you can read the majority of the comments are polarized. As you stated in your last post the fights vs Peterson and Herrera would not have ended up in KO's for them because they obviously knew it would be a strategic mishap to go for broke....Danny has the ability to land sharp powerful counter shots and he sometimes takes to many incoming shots to deliver his own pressure. Danny vs Pac would be interesting at this stage in both their respective careers though I lean towards Manny pulling off a SD/UD victory.

I think it is the speed factor. Danny was getting taken apart by Kahn because of the speed difference until he finally managed to get bailed out by Khan's glass chin. To this day Danny holds a ton of respect for Kahn. I think he feels it would be harder for him to deal with Pac because of that same level of speed and even better footwork. But I personally think Thurman is the greater threat right now.

PAC by UD, but wouldn't be surprised if either/both got dropped.

Prime PAC wouldn't need more than 5-6 rounds to finish any version of Garcia.
