Base on Diaz's performance against a shot morales, Pac ruins and I mean absoulutely RUINS this guy. Unlike Morales, Pac gets stronger as the fight goes on. I could see a sustained beating for 8.9 rounds before this one gets stopped. The handspeed difference is huge. On fight nite, Pac comes in the mid-140s anyways

David Diaz is the fighter Pacquiao will be looking to fight first if he ever moves up because it would be the easiest opponent to get a belt at 135.

PAC in my opinion is not interested in having a legit belt, I guess he is satisfied with his popularity and goes without saying...$$$, otherwise he could just have fought Fana if he really wants it.

yes PAC would own Diaz.... but i still think that Morales won that fight even though he faded in the later rounds

Diaz has a high workrate and came on in the later rounds against Morales...but Morales was still able to drop him in Round 2 and in my opinion, did enough to win the fight 7-5. I thought Diaz got a hometown decision that was easier to make for the judges because of his aggression.

I think any beltholder at 135 would be tough for Pacquiao because of the size difference. Then again, if he had to choose the beltholder to "ease" his way into the division, it would be to start with David Diaz, because Juan and Julio might possibly not only be too big for Manny, but with skills to match.
