i remember when diego was alive in 2005. there was fan talk of a fight between him and pacquiao. Everyone always said that Pac gets his ass knocked out. It would have been one helluva fight though..

I agree with more or less everything else you've said except the bit i've highlighted, i don't think for 1 punch power pac has as much as chico. Corrales was a massive puncher.

Outside of that though he holds no real advantages, a lot of people have said they think pac best weight would be 140, i'm not sure about that and actually think its lightweight. I know that he only faced Diaz there who is no class act but i still think that was the best most varied performance i have seen of pacquaio career.

He will have to much for diego in this one and likely gets the stoppage

Chico (RIP) was a very limited one dimensional fighter that everyone and their mama can outbox. Floyd out boxed him, Casamayor outboxed him, Freitas outboxed him, Pac would outbox him.

 

I think Corrales get's hurt early or mid rounds and stopped.

 

as much as i like chico, i would only give him a puncher's chance against pac. he's slow, almost have no footwork and a bit chinny. but i love watching his fights, a KO was almost always possible to happen.

 

I've played this fight out many times on Fight Night Rnd 3 lol. Corrales fades late and gets TKOd on accumulation of punches. Unless of course he spits out the mouthguard twice and lands a hail-mary.
