Timing and Accuracy. Which is what did him in against smaller less imposing fighters like Morales/JMM. We're talking about Felix Trinidad man. haha, damn. People be lost.

Then i guess you underrating Trinidad's jab cause Tito has a real good hard jab to set up either his left hook or his straight right hand.

Lots of Ricans in NJ and NY. That explains the nuthuggery in Tito.

For sure, Manny is a sucker for being timed with his wild shots. Manny's only defence while throwing is his offence. Guys like Morales and JMM timed him big time, but I'm saying Manny has the ablitity to fight a much tighter fight if the guy can't box and move like JMM or Morales. Tito can box, but not to the extent of Morales or JMM.

  6. Who has Pac beat who was still in their primes period? Tito smashes him?

I'm not saying Tito is a cupcake. He's got skill and his own bag of tricks. I just don't think he would pose too much of a threat to Manny. Even with all he does, I just think Manny's advantages outweigh Tito's.

Well guess what? Roach i don't think in his heart believe Pacquiao can beat a prime Trinidad at 147 pounds. If that's the case then Pacquiao would be fighting a real prime fighter at the ww limit that is close to prime Trinidad level. But since we haven't seen that i guess it shows that this thread is garbage and insulting to the great prime Trinidad.

  9. Their are alot puerto ricans here and that explains the tito nutt huggers? There must be alot of asians here or white people with no balls and that is why so many people love manny

ok, shoot me a prime fighter at welter that's close to trinidad's level when pac moved up to welter?

floyd is the closest but he is ducking the fight. cotto and clottey are prime when pac fought them at welter though but hardly on tito's level.

    Like who?

Berto? Sorry, but Berto is not at Tito's level yet.
Ortiz? Ortiz just moved and had a good win, but hasn't proven to be totally elite.
Floyd? Not even going to get into that discussion.

Still, I'd take Berto or Ortiz over these passed few opponents that he's been facing. I'm with you on the level of recent opposition he's fought, but that still doesn't deter me from my thought that he would beat Tito. We can just agree to disagree.

I think the comparison of Margaritto's performance against Pacquiao is a good measuring stick for this one.

In spite of allll that Pacquiao had going for him, Margarito still managed to hurt Manny and Manny himself said he was the strongest fighter he's ever faced. NOW...put in Trinidad who is faster, stronger, more accurate, infinitely harder hitting, and has incredible conditioning. Get my point?

Pacquiao takes the first 3 rounds and people think upset...4th Tito settles in and pins Pac against the ropes a few times. By the 8th, Pac is taking a beating...9th, Roach stops the fight to fans relief.

Pac is incredible, but if Margarito is the bar for strength...then he wouldn't last against a Prime Trinidad.

Trinidad was slow on his feet. Oscar boxed circles around him and made him look like he was walking on mud. Pac's vastly superior movements would never let Trinidad set his punches and confuse the hell out of him. People seriously underestimate footwork when doing mythical matchups.
