I think PBF would have to take the fight to Pac to win this one. Push Pac against the ropes and take the fight on the inside. When Floyd and Judah fought at mid-range in the center of the ring, Floyd got tagged by lefts and even got knocked down by a counter right hook when he lunged in with the straight right. Pac has that punch better than Judah and can throw it for the full 12.

After 4 rounds Roger told Floyd to take the fight to Judah and it was all she wrote. Floyd has some of the slickest infighting skills and can turn up the heat when he wants. But potshotting the right hand in the center of the ring will spell a Pacquiao victory. Also if Floyd leans back against the ropes and lets Pac slug at him, trying to pick off shots like he did against Hatton, he will get tagged and rocked repeatedly. Pac won't smother into Floyd like Hatton did. He will keep his range and let his hands go at blinding speed.

Its a great fight. The question for me becomes can Pac use his footwork to keep the fight in the middle of the ring and keep his back off the ropes, or is Floyd gonna be able to cut the ring off and take the fight on the inside..

IMO Pac by UD as FLoyd has been off for too long to come back and put in the type of performance it would take to beat Pac.

The Floyd that fought Judah vs the Pac taht beat Oscar? God damn thats a great fight. I think Floyd edges him.

Another thing is I don't think Floyd can use the same gameplan as Morales and MArquez (waiting for Pac to get off, catching his punches, and then firing off right hand counters and combinations) because his stance is completely different. The way Morales and MArquez square their shoulders and keep their hands up, they can catch Pac's punches with the gloves. The shoulder roll defence imo leaves Floyd too open for the straight left and the way he throws his right hand 1 at a time with no follow up lets Pac get his counter off.

very hard fight to pick but floyd is a master tactician and could probably nick this one if ONLY he can disect mannys speed and get him trapped along the ropes if not pacquiao can just bob and weave all night and work of his jab and cross

Pacman is faster than Maywheater, he just TKO the guy that almost beat Mayweahter in his last fight, maywheater is nothing especial it's just a guy who mastered the art of running, he plays a different sport but not boxing, Pacman will destroy Maywheater easily.

I don't know, JMM has shown that the way to beat Manny is to outbox him, and outboxing fighters it's Floyds specialty,

pbf most likely wins but pac-man is such a special fighter that he might just be able to defeat mayweather. pac-man will present problems to mayweather that nobody has ever before. and there's a good chance pbf wants the fight seeing as how he had to settle for a SD win over dlh while pac-man looked more spectacular and stopped him.

I would prefer if this fight takes place at 140, I think Floyd can still make it with ease.

why do ppl always use that stupid bull**** logic "Pac destroyed Oscar and Floyd SD Oscar, therefore Pac beats Floyd." ****in stupid. Styles make fights ppl. I have to agree i was wrong b4 the fight by saying Oscar would win because he was bigger because Manny clearly proved that wrong. However, lets not get carried away. Floyd is no De La Hoya. He's smarter, faster, and way more accurate, not to mention he is a defensive MASTER. Pac is one hellova fighter and definately deserves the P4P #1 for the moment, but after Mayweather comes bak to fight him, as i think he will along with everyone else, that crown will soon get snatched right bak to the hand of Money May. Its just a shame because i know if they fight its a Lose Lose for Mayweather because No one on here would give him his props, jus like no one would have given De la hoya any props.

I think Pac will win for the simple fact Floyd has been out for to long. While PBF is out partying...Manny has been fighting the best in the business, and still growing as a fighter. I think at 140 Manny takes it because I GUARANTEE Mayweather isn't even close to 140 right now, and would be weight drained/ ring rusted. I remember whenever they weighed Floyd for WWE he was like 159 I think...So, who knows now, but I'm sure it's not less. At 147 I'd give Floyd 50/50.
Floyd is a defensive master, but not sure he could keep a small pitbull like Pac off him...Also, Pac has really improved his boxing skills. It's a testament to him whenever DLH can't even catch you.

I would be rooting for Pac just because if Floyd wins he'll just retire again.

i have to admit i thought paman would get hurt last night. I am glad I was wrong. This is a SD either way. I am going to use the logic of both fighters using the same opponent. Floyd took Golden boy all 12 rounds and an SD. Pacman absolutely masscared DLH. I do not see how floyd destroys pacquaio? Anyway i do see mayweather beating pacman in a close SD and a great fight. But just as easily i can see pacman bringing speed and power mayweather has never seen and beat him in a close SD. Even JMM in my opinion has not beaten Pacman convincingly. Mayweather style is unorthodox he is not a virtuoso boxer. He has that unorthodox defense and uses his quick reflexes. Mayweather does jab but doesnt jab like JMM. Mayweather pot shots you with right hands and a lead left hooks. What JMM brung was constantly left jabs and right straights that is how you beat Pacman. As of right now I think mayweather in SD. If pac fights hatton and destroys him. I think Pac beats mayweather because mayweather for once would not be the fastest fighter in the ring. Honestly that smug attitude of mayweather really pisses me off, and if Pacman can humble his ass this puts pacman in elite level. But let us wait and see

Mayweather. He is the better fighter and wouldn't just stand there like DLH and take shots.

Unless he's faded as hell from a layoff.

the reason pbf vs. dlh was close as it was becuase mayweather fought such a saftey first fight. had he took more chances he could have dominated more. but if floyd and pac meet. floyd has to be the favorite but pac will give him a fight. mayweather will be troubled with that speed and agression from pac but imo he ahs the skills to overcome it.
