    That's not being a hater.

Im a big fan of Pac but just because he beat DLH who stood there and took shots doesn't mean he'd beat Mayweather.

Interesting to see people here who in the past, laughed at the notion of a PBF-Pac encounter, much more being it a competitive tussle, but now have changed their tunes.

Me? I still think PBF has enough skills and size to win a well-fought fight.

I used to feel pretty sure about a Mayweather win, but as time goes on, I lean more towards it being a toss up. Pac's handled the weight better than I thought he would, and it's impossible to say one way or another how Floyd's layoff will affect him ( I do think it'd be fair to expect a little rust, at least initially). If the fight happens at 140, there'd also be Floyd losing weight to take into account.

All in all, I'd still slightly favor Floyd as he's just more proven at the higher weights, but this would be a hell of a fight I'd love to see and Pac could well spring an upset.

if they fight at 140 mayweather vs pacman. Absolute toss up. I do not see pacman dominated mayweather and vice versa. Who ever wins, wins because of sheer heart, skill, and determination. This fight makes them a modern day legend. this fight better happen in the future.

Floyd losing weight would be fine. He would be cutting roughly 7lbs.

Floyd can tag Pac. Which something old Oscar couldn't touch him. So I reckon Floyd would probably dance and school a game but outclassed Pac culminating in a wide Ud or late round TKO..

In an of itself, it wouldn't be a huge deal. Combined with his inactivity, it could be something to watch for. I say that because if the fight with Floyd does happen, it's likely going to take another year because Pac would have to go through Hatton first- meaning Floyd will have essentially 2 years off.

I have no idea what Floyd's walk around weight is, but it'll have been 4 years since he made 140 at that point. I have no doubt he'll be able to make the weight; but will something get lost in the process? That's what we'll have to keep an eye on.

you dont think pac could touch mayweather. What are your reasons? How bout manny improved defense and ring generalship? How about manny constant head movement, bob, weaving, and in out style. if you think wide dominating ud.

the lay off is a huge deal. If pac and hitman go at it next year. it would probably essentially take two years for this fight to happen.

He's always in the gym training. You hear all those reports of he's gonna fight or whatever, he's just in the gym. He said it himself he's a gym rat and loves to train and stay in shape.

He walks around at 147-150. He might be 155ish now but no more. Last I hear he was 153 but thats taking time off and doing other things.

When Mayweather fought at 147 and 154 he never gained weight. He actually lost weight I THINK from the Mayweather-DLH weigh in to the fight night.

even without a layoff, any fighter will be at least a bit unerved with a guy like pac-man who throws a bunch off punches with power for all type of angles and with that type of speed. i think mayweather will beat him but it isnt going to be an easy fight.

yeah the layoff wont be that big of a deal because mayweather is like hopkins, they guys are gym rats and they walk around their fighting weght anyway.
