    Undecided.

When the dust settles and I think about it more logically I'll have a better chance to analyze. Competitive for sure.

Mayweather wins and fairly easily I think.

Manny is tailor made for Floyd

    Just a styles thing

this fight is a classic close fight. Mayweather is gonna be rusty it could be two years b4 he fights since he only wants the huge fights. I cant see domination either way

I honestly think if Mayweather had to jump for example from lightweight directly to superwelter agains Oscar, Oscar would have won... I also had May winnning a clear fight against ODLH, but it was around 116-112. Pacman yesterday proved that he has more handspeed (and obviously more power) than Mayweather.

In my eyes, Mayweather is still the favourite, but I wouldn't call Pacman an underdog.... 60%-40% to May. Pacman has everything to stop May, handspeed, power, stamina, SKILLS, intelligence, legs, determination...

daft p hit the proverbial nail in the coffin. I cant see pac stopping mayweather becuz money is to good for that. Manny would frustrate the hell out of Money.

Perhaps. As I said I think May would win but I would not be surprised to see him on the canvas. Pac's left is something extraordinary. Oscar felt it, had he decided to continue he would have gone down. His legs were shaky. If Manny could court Oscar, he will be able to hurt Mayweather.

This would be an enjoyable fight.

What does Mayweather do against someone just as (if not more) aggressive and tenacious as Hatton, as fast and explosive as Judah, as tough and tested as just about anyone he's ever fought, with the stamina to fight at full blast for twelve rounds? To top it off, it's a guy fighting out of the southpaw stance, and he's being coached by Roach, who (aside from being a good trainer) has already had the chance to study Mayweather's style in depth through the fight with Oscar.

What does Pac do against an even better counter-puncher than Marquez, speed and defensive slickness he's never seen before, and a reach and natural weight advantage?

Then you have things to spice it up a bit, like Mayweather's inactivity and the possible affect of Pac dropping in weight again after going up so much.

I'd definitely be interested to see this.

Yes, of course. The "check-hook" (that was the name, right? :D) would send Pac to sleep. That's why this would be the fight of the decade. Both has a chance to stop the other.

It's not hard to 'try and fight' someone when you think that they have feather fists and cannot hurt you (the perspective on Mayweather's power was at its most dismal at this point, because he'd just fought Baldomir) combined with them backing away from you all night and only trying to slip in a punch here and there. Even then, Hoya certainly came to fight Pac -- in the early rounds he was in stalking mode, and it was only after getting punished again and again with the left-straight that he decided to sit back and try to counter...and then that quickly dissolved into survival mode. At the start of the fight he was making a genuine effort, though; he even resorted to the illegal hold 'n hit trick at one point, which he also used in the Mayweather fight (when he held Mayweather against the ropes with one forearm while throwing punches to his ribs with the other hand).
