I'm not sure this would happen, though. I've a feeling that one of them might want to be sure that neither of them were on drugs and the other would suddenly develop a strange aversion to proving this.

holy crap, this would be an awesome match up! why has no one ever thought of it before?

my gut feeling is that people will want this to happen but then it will all fall apart during contract negotiations...

 

I doubt it'd generate any excitement, honestly. So many better options out there.

Seriously, this is a good point.

It would be a terrific match-up and I doubt there's a boxing fan on earth who wouldn't want to see it, but is it really so uncompromisingly and unmitigatedly critical that it's worth all the megatonnes of bull**** that's been defecated in its name? I'm not so sure.
