Manny Pacquiao has shown to be a very effective 130lb boxer, with top notch speed and good power- if not a bit diminished from his days in the lower weights where he was a great puncher.

Camacho, the 130lb & pre-Rosario Camacho, was a brilliant boxer with the fastest hands I have seen on film. In addition, he possessed great speed of foot and lateral movement which he displayed against fighters like Ramirez and Limon.

I see this fight going to Camacho by UD. The only discernible advantage Pac would have would be in power, but Camacho's speed and lateral movement would present a difficult target for Pac while disorienting his ability to sit down on his own shots.

    Thoughts?

Camacho shuts him out. Pacquiao's biggest asset is his speed and he is totally outclassed in that area.

I agree with that, Camacho had decent pop at 130 and could definately stop Pac on accumilation.

How would you assess Camacho's skills and performance after his loss with Rosario?

it's not that pac's bad, it's just that camacho was a very good fighter with a stylistic advantage over pac. in addition, 130 is'nt really pac's best weight. pac at 122-126 would be a handful over anybody, a real monster. no shame in being a underdog to camacho at 130.

personally, i think pac would swarm and KO some one like pep at 126.

everyone who voted for pac must have not seen camacho at 130 and 135...damn he is that good. I am a pac fan but camacho was just a beast at 130. To be honest, i even think that camacho would have won against floyd at 130, his speed was god-like and he has power at the lower weights

    Hector "Macho" Camacho by UD.
Tho if this fight happens before the Rosario fight, then this will be the fight people point at and say.......

Because that's the only way these guys can beat Pac , in their imagination. Always matching Pac with ATGs then always pick against Pac.

But the truth is Pac came up on top against the 3 ATGs in what Ring Magazine called the best Era of Featherweights against Different styles of fighters.

Camacho only have 13 fights at 130, If they have met on his 13th fight while Pac was in Prime at 130 I don't think Camacho will have Chance at all.

Let's talk about this after Pac KOes Hatton. It might open a lot of Closed minds.
