Probably Pac, but Camacho at his best could have beaten him. Chavez really put the hurts on Camacho, so pressure was Camacho's worst enemy.
Don't overrate Camacho too much guys. Guzman alone has faster hands than this guy. Don't get me wrong Camacho is very good. But man, that speed is too overrated. The only thing Camacho has to keep manny from coming in is running. The guy has weak Jab. Throws wide shots like Guzman. He's suseptible from straight shots. The guy stops when throwing punches that will make him suseptible from Pac's flurries. The guy couldn't see Ramirez and Chavez slow Jab, can't see him stopping Pac's fast straight punches. Camacho could win decision over Pacman. But KO? Thats overrating him too much. Camacho was not known as a puncher ever. Whats more clear to me, is Pac could stop him in any round, or win a decision(7-3ish).
atsch Guzman is not faster than Camacho, and even so, Guzman schools the vastly overrated Pac. Camacho would tear him to pieces, what advantages does Pac have? Pac's D is leaky, he's sloppy, he has a limited arsenal of effective punches, he can't fight backing up well and he's undersized at 130 all in all. Why is Pac effectiv with all of those vulnerabilities? Great speed, timing and power. Camacho negates all 3 of those factors, leaving Pac ****ED.
Don't bother, you're dealing with the scum of the earth in *******s. Camacho at 130 was a supernatural blaze, I wouldn't feel comfortable picking anybody over him at 130 at his very best.
I've seen his fight with Bazooka Limon, but the guy was on the end of his career when he fough him. Pacman fought and defeated better opponents at 130, and people are so sure of Camacho winning as if he was a total monster? You got to be kidding me. Aside from done Bazooka Limon who else this guy fought noteworthy at 130? Just goes to show some do not have clue who this guy is and just jumping on the hype without seeing him. Let me ask you some other questions, who hit harder at 130 Hector Camacho or Pacman? And who fought competetion at 130?
How much more obvious does it get mate? Chavez would have mowed down the entire current crop at 130, he was a literal beast. I'd take Chavez over Floyd at 130 without hesitation also judging on styles. Watch some *******s come in here and claim he's more effective than Chavez.
i dont want to sound like an ass or anything, but you gotta wonder how some people process what they view in fights. do they see what they want to see or struggle to see at all?
and this explains why pac is very underrated here at esb in a head-to-head matchup. never mind the fighters that he defeated. guzman who's greatest victory was against soto is favored even more than pac. but it's understanble, since some people still believes that pac is one-dimesional boxer and eventually be exposed. i'll just remember that most people pick barrera by reasoning that pac is just an overrated power punching fighter from asia.
It takes an effort to view fights for what they really are, have to view a lot of different fights also. Long time fans normally see things straight value. Pac fans? They watch Pac fights.
I wished that Camacho would have stayed a little longer at 130 due to having a chance to fight Chavez. The outcome would have been different. Chavez actually fought for Camacho's vacated title at 130. I like Camacho at 135 and at 140. Rosario with much respect did not ruin Camacho, but made Camacho force his style by placing safety first. He was a runner and a holder, but still could not be beat until Chavez at 140. I don't count Haugen. That referee had it in for Camacho which alot of fans never brought up. All of his partying and the fact he was not taking boxing serious is what caused his demise from being one of the elite fighters. I still was entertain by his fights whether it would be with Duran or SugarRay which I witnessed live. 130, 135, and 140 were his best weights. If he would have taken his training seriously, maybe 147.
What a crap p4p list out there. Imagine putting that overrated boxer for the #1 spot... I respect you as one good analyst but when it comes to pac your decisions are somewhat like of a true hater. Come on mate is that overrated thing necessary??
