Macho man wins. Probably was at his best at 130 and was still good offensively back then and not the cautious defensive minded fighter that he was in his later career. Clear decision winner.

Like a battle between lighting bolts!

I've got Pac winning a decision after eventually deterring Macho. Pac gets out pointed early rounds.

I would have said Camacho years ago, but now I think Pacman. He was more consistent and really a much greater fighter. Camacho has that excuse that Rosario hit him and he was gunshy after, but Pacman was knocked out and he still goes on. He was just a more overall greast fighter who fought and beat them all. Camacho hit a roadblock after a very good start. And 130 he was at his best, but the totality of the career. The weights of fighters mean something, but can also be overrated when matching two top fighters.

Its weird because both guys saw their careers take radically different trajectories after their time at 130. Pac was fairly inconsistent at the weight, sometimes looking brilliant (Morales II & III, Marquez II) and other times he looked like he was having an off night (Larios, Solis). There were rumors that he had ulcers from drinking and keeping late hours, and that he was spending more time running around cheating on Jinkee than he was doing actual running (roadwork).

Instead, he mustered an epic period of almost unimaginable career growth. His greatest glories were still ahead.

Meanwhile Camacho was a true assassain at 130. But other than a great win over JLR at 135, his career never really amounted to much after that point.

Its hard to say who wins the fight. Manny was clearly more accomplished at the weight, but Macho Camacho was stylistic poison.

At 130, Camacho was a force of nature. Let’s not forget that he had an ATG chin as well.

I got Pacquiao via unanimous decision here. Pacquiao was a beast at 130. Beat Morales, Barrera, and Marquez. 3 great fighters.

I'd like to say Camacho, because I liked Hector, but my head says Pac.

I feel the 130 Pac who beat Morales in the third fight was Manny at his absolute apex.

I think Pac's firepower would put Hector in retreat mode, and Pac would just outfight him to a UD win.

HOWEVER, I would pick Camacho over Loma at 130.

Geez, honestly Manny's career took off after steroids, I mean many fighters did, Evander Holyfields made millions but it was obvious.

I'm a fan of both, but if they fought twice, prime vs prime I could see Camacho winning one of them on points. Camacho will always had a chance not just because of his speed and footwork but he has an ATG chin. A well conditioned Camacho could box well for 10-12 rounds when needed. At 130 & 135, all Camacho's opponents literally looked like they're fighting in first gear and Camacho was in 5th gear. At those weight classes , I'd favor Camacho but at 140 I think Pacman clearly had an edge, due to his punching power.
