"I would love to fight him. He is my hero, so it would be good to share a ring with him, that would be awesome. It would be good to fight him. That would be a dream come true, to share a ring with Manny Pacquiao."

'Shua ain't pulling no Droopy Eyez here. He'd be willing to fight his hero (he named his dog Pacman).

    Who wins?

Reckon it would be at 147, although if 'Shua has all the titles at 140...

If they fought now or anytime in the future then Josh Taylor wins in a 9-3 style decision or by TKO. Why? Because Taylor is skilled talent who will undoubtedly become consensus GOAT Scottish fighter ever, and Pac-Man is way past his prime at 41 years old.

If we could take today's Taylor and the Pac-Man of say 2008 to 2015 then Pac-Man wins by KO is a dominant fight. That is no knock on Taylor, Pac-Man was a phenomenal ATG through and through fighter in those years. Most fighters would get KO'd by Pac-Man in those years. He was a freak of nature then and that's that I guess.

Pac would have to slip more. The Pac that beat Thurman is still too much for Taylor.

Taylor's lack of defense and tendency to bust up really bites him in the ass against Pac.

It's also the reason why Josh would have zero chance against Crawford and Spence.

Dude. JTT isn't stopping Pac. Not even a 42/43 year old version. He just doesn't have that kinda firepower.

Although there is not too much age difference between the three of them, Taylor is the youngest and by the time he gets to 147 and is ready to fight those two, I think he will have the edge.

Crawford is already close to 33 years old and looking slightly slower. Spence, after that car crash I really don't think he will be the same, I think he will have aches, pains and all kinds of issues with his body in general.

I think we will actually see a rejuvenated, more dedicated Spence. You can bet your ass he stopped drinking after the accident. He was only in the hospital briefly, so I think any residual negative effects will be strictly psychological, which can be hammered out in sparring.

He hasn't been looking fat like before the Mikey and Porter fights, so that's already a good sign.

I take it that, if this happens, it will be at Welter as that's where Manny feels most comfortable these days although he's still really a natural Lightweight.
This would be to Pacquiao's advantage as he is used to the weight and has shown that he can handle Welters whereas for Josh the experience would be a new one even though he is the naturally bigger man.
I just don't think that, for all his greatness, Pacquiao can bridge the age gap. Taylor is no run of the mill alphabet Champion, he has exceptional talent and his youth will enable him to set a hot pace and maintain it. There is also the increasing possibility that, at his age, Manny may just totally unravel one of these nights.
Taylor on points with a reasonable degree of comfort.

Yup. It could happen any night where Manny's legs no longer work. But even if he's not quite as mobile, can JTT survive the exchanges?

I think he can prolong them Pak. Just his youth. It's Manny who'll be looking to break off to get a breather.

This would be a good fight at this juncture in their respective careers.

Would fancy TTT in this one.

Prime, proven world level wins, size advantage and huge age difference.

At the moment we don’t know if pacman is gonna show up and be past it, Thurman could be his last top performance. Taylor has quite a few top performances ahead of him.

The scores v postol were nonsense and I feel he ran taylor the closest, even more so than reg, due to size.

    taylor decision for me

Is TTT better than Algieri, though? Pac handled him w/ ease and lost only one round where he looked bored and lazy and got countered some.

Could TTT keep Ruslan off of him and cruise to a decision? Or take Khan deep? Remember, Khan schooled Clenelo for 4-5 rounds before Clenelo landed his roided right hand and slept him.
