Yeah, i forgot about the KD against Cotto because it was so recent. But that was an off balanced KD. He was never hurt. Clottey has a granite chin. Pac can't hurt him.

Clottey is much bigger than Hatton, boxes better than Hatton and can take any shot Pac dishes out. He will be there in front of Pac from start to finish. Of course Pac is going to get in his shots with his footspeed and hand speed but Clottey will laugh at those shots. The thing with Pac's power is that his speed generates power along with the fact that he catches guys coming in. But he doesn't have thudding power at 147. But Clottey has great defense and doesn't just jump into shots. He's more careful.

You can't ignore the size difference. It will be a big one. People who think Clottey is some plodding, one dimensional boxer hasn't watched him. I'm sorry but it's true. Clottey BEAT Cotto IMO. He was competitive with Marg. Those are two of the best WWs out there.

Tell me this. If Clottey is so one dimensional, how come he was competitive with Marg (probably loaded gloves), beat Cotto (IMHO) and beat Judah? :huh

Some of you make me wonder if you've even watched a single Clottey fight. He doesn't need head movement because he uses a pee a boo defense. He's also a good counter puncher and his hand speed is very good, especially his left hook.

Margo is one-dimensional, Cotto beat Clottey WITH ONE EYE, and Judah is both small at welterweight and past-prime... and he wasn't even that good to begin with.

Clottey is formidable physically, but there is very little else to him. He is not a good boxer, and nowhere even near the level of Pacquiao.

So let me get this straight. Say Clottey got the decision against Cotto, (which i though he should've gotten), then is he still a crap fighter? If a crap fighter beat Cotto, then what does that make Cotto?

actually i think pacs movement is what makes this fight interesting.... his lack of rythem throws off opponents and hes so bouncy, i can actually see him getting off first and getting out of clotteys way most of the night... so in reality i can see pac winning a close fight... but it would hardly be the runaway people are making it seem.

Marg is a plodder but he was a monster when Clottey fought him. Let's not tarnish Marg now. He was a feared WW at the time.

The cut against Cotto i can give you. Clottey did what he usually does which is not enough. He should've went for the kill.

Judah? Yeah, past his prime but still a good win. He would've probably KOed him if the fight went on though.
