YEAH! :nut When did this happen?

Morales bashed Pacquiao toe-to-toe for 12 rounds.

Marquez schooled Pacquiao 3 times and put him to sleep in the 4th.

Floyd... ah ah ah.. hmmm. ummm.....hard work and medication.

Looks like quite a lot of people on here are gonna have egg on their faces when Pac decimates Brandon Rios & the winner of Marquez/Bradley.

As for Juan Diaz Pac ends his career, this would be a massacre

Jaun got lucky he didn't get Pac in the ring. Just not on his level. Manny would've been charged with murder in the 1st degree.

Pacquiao is equipped to destroy Juan Diaz, a man who Malignaggi schooled, Marquez beat down.

Pacquiao eats pressure fighters for breakfest, he would win every round en route to stopping Diaz in the 8th.

The punch was a perfect set-up, no question about it.. But the way it landed, that was lucky.. :deal You have to consider that Pacquiao was off his feet when the punch landed and was on the way of possibly stopping Marquez, just did not happen.. It could have been, but never did..

That was the first time in their series when I thought Pacquiao is way better than Marquez.. If you think I'm butthurt, man you're wrong.. I even have a congratulations thread for Marquez.. :hey

this, here's the thing pacquiao can out brawl Diaz and outbox him, Pacquiao has a world class defence to go with his offense, people overlook this fact because he is an ATG and it doesn't match up with say his other skills, Pacquiao could outbox him or go to war with him, if he brawls he is stopping Diaz mid rounds in a FOTY, if he moves and boxes a bit more (e.g. vs Oscar) he stops him late 11/12.

He may mean current boxers. Which is still slightly off as he forgot Mayweather who would prolly as well prime vs prime.

There was nothing lucky about the punch. Pacquiao's foot caught Marquez', but it happened in the blink of an eye. That shot was going to land whether Pacquiao's foot caught Marquez' or not.

You have to consider that Marquez landed a few and not just one of those right hand missiles throughout the fight.
Pacquiao has a good chin, but those shots were truly missiles as Marquez had trained for power.
Tommy Hearns mounted many right hands off of Duran's face before finally Duran broke. The same goes here with Marquez-Pacquiao.
Those right hands start to mount up and with each landed, the crack gets bigger until you finally land one that breaks the object.

Dont turn a blind eye to the fact that Marquez had said before and after his aim was to leave it out of the hands of the judges this time.
He did not make it a secret his aim was to knockout Pacquiao and not leave it to the judges to surely rob him again.

What happens to fighters who put more mustard on their shots?
Thats right, they're more vulnerable to get hammered with return fire, as Marquez did this 4th go around.
You however want to weigh it all as if Marquez getting hit more often this time is striclty the result of Pacquiao just being better than Marquez.
Its a nieve way to look at things when you consider Marquez changed the plan and mindset in which to approach Pacquiao this 4th fight.

Lets face facts. Marquez sacrificed defense and putting himself more in the face of danger, in exchange for landing that right hand of his with more power and force. The result was Pacquiao's head looking like it would fly off its socket and two impressive knockdowns of Pacquiao, the last which put the Filipino to sleep for minutes.

Let me say one last thing. Pacquiao was never in control of the fight, nor did he ever have Marquez on the verge of getting stopped.

I'm posting round 5 and 6 here. Take a re-look at them, and see that at no point after Pacquiao stunned Marquez in the 5th did Marquez ever stop throwing punches.
Not only did Marquez not stop throwing punches, he was landing to both the head and body of Pacquiao of what he was throwing.

Take a look at the end of round 5 where Marquez heads back to his corner with a massive smile on his face.
To me, its an indication of him thinking, "I've got this guy right where I want him, coming at me now is where I'll land my power."

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298ryHob0Jw

It always benefits Marquez when Pacquiao comes to him, and Pacquiao thinking he had Marquez stunned and vulnerable played right into Marquez' hands, as Marquez is better when he's in counterpunch mode.

Marquez was asked afterward why he did'nt jump at Pacquiao when he knocked him down in the 3rd and his answer was that based on experience against himself and seeing Pacquiao against other fighters, Pacquiao is just as dangerous if not more so when he's been stunned. "I did'nt feel it was the appropriate time to vehemently pursue him."
Thats the smart in Marquez that maybe Pacquiao finds harder to control himself in.

Take a look now at round 6, both land good shots the first half of the round with Pacquiao getting slightly the better of it.
However, contrary to popular belief, in the 2nd half of round 6 Marquez takes control of space and actually dominates the last half of round 6 with left hand power jabs and strong rights and hooks to both the head and body.
Right under the 10 second mark Pacquiao lands a straight left that to the naked eye looks like it stunned Marquez and put him off balance.
But actually take a good look. Marquez actually rode with that shot, and though a little off balance, wanted to come right back at Pacquiao because it was the close of the rounds. When Pacquiao backtracked, Marquez re-set and waited for Pacquiao to make his move.
The rest is boxing history, Marquez set his trap, Pacquiao bit, right hand right down the pike for the boxing ages. :D

Time to just man up and admit that Marquez is just the better overall fighter. Not only did he outbox Pacquiao for the majority of the first 36 rounds they fought, but he knocked out Manny Pacquiao when Marquez was put in a vulnerable position, being forced to believe he had to seek a KO in order to get an official victory against Pacquiao.

MARQUEZ BEAT PACQUAIO AT PACQUIAO'S GAME, THE POWER GAME! :deal

Of course, Marquez incorporated smarts and guile on his way to doing so! :yep
