well can you explain why, aside from taking a pay, would the two official judges saw it for pacquiao and one has it a draw without hearing anything from the HBO broadcasters?

judges can have different interpretations too. giampa see that chavez was winning against taylor going into the 12th while moretti and roth have it for taylor by 4 or 5 rounds.

I believe that was my score as well. I agree with the points he raised.

I never mentioned anything about the official judges. I haven't heard from any of them. They may know exactly what the correct judging criteria is and interpreted the action differently than many viewers did. My criticism is focused on Lederman. His explanation of how to score a round in that fight was patently false. If any judge is scoring a fight based on the criteria he outlined during the broadcast, they need to undergo further training. It's really frustrating hearing it from Lederman because I know that he knows how a fight should be scored.

The only time I saw a critical examination of Moretti and Trowbridge's judging history was in response to delusional Pacquiao fans (specifically caneman) implying that it was categorically impossible for them to be involved in a poor decision and that their verdict should be seen as infallible.

chuck giampa is a FLAMING HYPOCTIRE!!!!! he scored calzaghe vs. hopkins 116-111 calzaghe. now pacquiao did WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better against marquez than calzaghe did. (2 clean punches the whole fight, constantly walking in to right hands, getting floored the first round with the first punch that lands, and throwing pitty pat punches on arms, shoulders, elbows, and thighs for 12 rounds.) nothing effective about that aggression.

8-4 seems right. JMM is the real champ.

fair enough. these judges don't deserved to be ridiculed or accused if a fight is truly a tight one with several very close rounds. it's hard enough to decide a 10-9 when you fell that it should be an even round, what more 10 or 11 very close rounds?

..but it seems like it's been lederman's pattern for years. i re-watched the close fight between vargas-winky, he also gave the close rounds to the fighter he deemed more aggressive.

Lederman's judging is inconsistent and sometimes changes to favor the star fighter. Regardless, aggressiveness is not a criteria on which pro fights are judged.
