Sanchez jabs from outside while tracking left. Evans moves in a beeline toward him, landing a body shot and an uppercut to the jaw that snaps Sanchez's head back. Drakulich cautions Evans for the body shot, claiming it was low. Sanchez digs a left hook to the body after tracking around with the jab some more. Evans gets another warning for low blows. Sanchez is changing directions, performing semicircular sweeps around Evans and jabbing him from long range. They trade jabs and both land, both getting jolted back a step. Sanchez weaves side to side, watching Evans. Sanchez moves in under a jab and digs a left hook to the body. Nice finish to the round by Sanchez, landing a left hook and right hand to the face but eating a hook as it heats up into an exchange. Big left rip to the body by Sanchez.

Sanchez is reaching in and tapping Evans on the body with both hands. Evans tries to bull his way in with his arms crossed up high in front of his face. Sanchez is nailing him with some accurate right hand leads and jabbing his way out to the side. Sanchez holds Evans in place with his left wrist resting atop his head and steps laterally. Nice right hand lead by Sanchez, quick and sneaky with a little pop behind it. Evans counters a wide left hook with his chopping right, turning Sanchez's head.

Round 8

Sanchez is jogging around and putting jabs into the face of Evans. A few body shots from Sanchez while hunched over and passing by. The right hand of Evans is held in the holster, and Sheridan remarks that Evans told his ocrner he thought he broke it. Evans' jab isn't enough to get the job done against the mobile and busy Sanchez, and so Evans lets it slip away.
