Raya blinks, obviously in pain. Raya keeps coming, showing true Mexican grit, diving with a right to the body. Penalosa slaps out a right hook as Raya comes in with a pawing left jab. Hard left to the body by Penalosa while sliding to his left and backing up by inches. Raya fades back to dodge a couple of lefts. Right hook by Penalosa as Raya nears again. Lead left by Penalosa, just feeling out the distance. Raya slaps at the body moving in. Counter uppercut by Penalosa. Penalosa doubles the right hook to body and head. Raya tries some jabs into the guard and then frisbees in a right to the body.

Round 2

Penalosa throws some hard left hands. Raya loses his balance trying to move in and work the body and winds up going headlong between the middle ropes as Penalosa lands another left. Raya flaps in with hacks to the body as Penalosa lays back against the ropes. Raya is mostly hitting the hips and arms of Penalosa. BIG RIGHT HOOK! RAYA DOWN AND OUT!! NO COUNT!!
