i think this would be very competitive. pac hasn't lost his absurd speed at 147. i think he was even faster than before. that said, he would give troubles to cotto.

but pac is a 140 lbs. fighter right now. that's could be his best weight.

Lets get real. If PAC beats HATTON CONVINCINGLY then I guess PAC will be ready for COTTO.. "Not Now" I guess.. but soon!:hat

lol, one year ago, put up a poll and ask if pac would beat juan diaz or nate campbell. the most answers you'd get is a definite NO.

Pac shooked the boxing world yesterday

It made most people forgot that there are weight divisions in the sport of boxing...

He just stopped ODH "legitely" Something Mayweather could not do. The best fighter in the sport at the time. So whats the big deal Pacman taking on the much chinnier  less accomplished Cotto? He should be favored by KO? Right?

because i am not as bold as the great pacdbest, the only thing i'd say is this will be a competitive match. cotto will have the edge in power but pac would bother him with speed and movement

both fighters would engage in a slugfest, but cotto will win.
    too much pressure/speed.

    Pac's last three fights...

    Hatton
    PBF

    and then cotto...

If pac gets pass those two without getting seriously hurt then i think he is ready for cotto.

and maybe JMM if he still feels like it.

no, i don't think pac would be crazy as to engage him in a slug fest. pac would try to break him down from the outside with his trademark in and out attack combined with quick footwork, an improving lateral movement and an offense of blinding left straight and up and down combinations. cotto has not fought anyone who moves like pacquiao.

but still cotto is the bigger man and is very versatile himself. great fight IMO

Most people wanted to see hatton vs. cotto so why not pac if he beats hatton.

    but @ 140

Pac is good. but i dont want him to engage with cotto. id rather see him with hatton, PBF then retire as one of the best.

The more compelling argument would be how Pac would fare against the 140 lbs version of Cotto.
